‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 5 Premiere Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

'Game Of Thrones' Season 5 Premiere Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

The premiere of HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 would have not been complete without the trio of men who were also in the mix at the San Francisco War Memorial Opera House on Monday (March 23) in San Francisco, California.

Kit Harington: The British actor was dapper in shades of charcoal grey with his button-down shirt and tie worn with a dark suit. The slick pair of oxfords with a wood-grain sole really brought this simple yet polished look together.

Michiel Huisman: Scruffily handsome, Michiel was quite the Dutch treat in his cornflower-blue Louis Vuitton double-breasted sport coat and pants. The dark navy turtleneck sweater threw me off at first, but he wears it so well, I can’t complain.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau: The Danish actor’s steely stare was complemented by the navy three-piece suit and crisp white button-down shirt. What caught my eye was the detail of the tailored jacket and vest with the accent seaming that added a subtle yet effective touch.

Emmanuelle Chriqui attended the red carpet event and world premiere of National Geographic Channel’s ‘Killing Jesus’, held at Alice Tully Hall on Monday (March 23) in New York City.

The actress went down the modern minimalism route, wearing a Solace London strapless maxi dress, elevating the look with metallic Jimmy Choo ‘Ari’ pumps.

You may remember that Anne Hathaway wore this same dress in raspberry back in February and many of you likened her frock to a towel. I’m sure the same will apply to this dress, especially with it being white.

Emilia Clarke attended the HBO ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 premiere at the San Francisco Opera House on Monday (March 23) in San Francisco, California, alongside her castmates Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and Nathalie Emmanuel.

While they went right down the youthful, sunny alley, Emilia went left, wearing a dramatic black satin gown from Alexander McQueen.

What sells this look to me is the avant-garde inspired ruffled detail on the sleeves, which elevates the classic silhouette to a contemporary status.

This may not go down so well, as she appeared to be out of tune with her co-stars, but I love that she opted to march to the beat of her own drum, showcasing her own style with clean-cut sophisticated poise.

Gwendoline Christie attended the HBO ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 premiere at the San Francisco Opera House on Monday (March 23) in San Francisco, California.

The British actress opted to go big looking incredible stylish wearing a green and white Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2015 Couture full runway look given the look a new slant by wearing the belt with the dress and not the blazer.

The look was further punctuated with gold Roger Vivier flats and gorgeous emerald earrings.

Dree Hemingway attended the ‘While We’re Young’ New York premiere at The Paris Theatre on Monday (March 23) in New York City alongside Amanda Seyfried.

The model/actress, as always, looked uber chic, wearing a Chloe Pre-Fall 2015 look which solidified her cool-girl status.

This could’ve looked quite costumey due to the nautical influence imbued by the button front trousers, but they actually serve to elongate her silhouette dramatically, with a high waist and long, wide leg construction.

Bringing a new level of panache to the red carpet, I love the nonchalant undone ribbon and contrasting Chloe clutch.

In short, I want every piece of this look, although I do find myself wondering if the hair tucked into her shirt was deliberate. If so, eh?
