Alicia Vikander In Louis Vuitton – ‘Submergence’ San Sebastian Film Premiere

Alicia Vikander attended the ‘Submergence’ premiere during the 65th San Sebastian Film Festival on Friday (September 22) in Spain.

The actress manages to do what Lea Seydoux and Prada/Miu Miu managed to do: prove to be a match made in heaven despite red carpet gowns not being considered their forte.

Louis Vuitton have many beautiful ambassadors, but Alicia appears to be extra special – as her track record has proven – and this Resort 2018 gown knocked me off my feet.

An ode to Louis Vuitton’s idyllic femininity, this dress is flourished with plenty of charm with tiny dose of LV edge for good measure.

Fan Bingbing in Monse – ‘Sky Hunter’ Beijing Premiere

Fan Bingbing was back on the red carpet for the ‘Sky Hunter’ Beijing premiere on Thursday (September 21) in China.

The actress has been stepping outside the box of her billowy gowns and ultra platforms, and I couldn’t be more happy to see her explore other dimensions of her style.

This Monse Resort 2018 combined menswear inspiration with flowy femininity for an intriguing effect.

While I preferred the fit of the jacket on the model, Fan worked this outfit to her advantage.

And, again, she gets bonus points for her footwear with single-sole booties a perfect choice instead of hooves.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge In Sies Marjan – ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’ World Premiere

Making an enchanting entrance in soft shades, Phoebe Waller-Bridge attended the ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’ world premiere on Wednesday (September 20) in London.

The actress donned a Sies Marjan Fall 2017 ensemble with an asymmetrical beige bodice and a white and peach skirt. I am happy that she posed in such a way to give the dress some movement because this was a look that I wanted to see in motion.

V-cut black heels and a coordinating clutch grounded the lightweight layering of the frock, but the dark colours came off as a bit stark. A lighter shade or a sandal would have been my first choice.

Kelly Macdonald In 16Arlington – ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’ World Premiere

While co-star Margot Robbie charmed in summery florals, Kelly Macdonald embraced fall’s more sumptuous fabrics at the ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’ world premiere on Wednesday (September 20) in London.

The Scottish actress’s navy 16Arlington separates had an inky elegance while offering a more tailored take on pyjama dressing.

The frilled peplum is almost lost against the belt and long layers of velvet, but those feathered tufts certainly aren’t. Their shape is like two surrealist winking eyes.

Playing off the velvet, Kelly accessorised with silver pointed-toe high heels.

Margot Robbie In Brock Collection – ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’ World Premiere

We’ve had a summer of celebs wearing velvet, so it seems only logical that the tables have turned as we move into Fall.

Margot Robbie was full of the joys of spring as she made her way onto the red carpet for the ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’ world premiere this evening (September 20) in London.

Floral-print dresses have slowly become a Brock Collection signature and this -fresh-off-the-runway- Spring 2018 prettily patterned ‘Doda’ dress is a fine example.

Now, my belief is that you’ll fall into one of three categories:

1. Love.
2. Dislike of the wet-look hair, or
3. Find the dress too ‘Little House on the Prairie’.

Personally, I love the romantic nature of the dress, and I think the hair keeps the look modern.

Sonequa Martin-Green In Georges Chakra Couture – Star Trek: Discovery Premiere

Sonequa Martin-Green swept onto the scene at the premiere of ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ on Tuesday (September 19) in LA.

Bringing her own sense of moody ethereality to the premiere, she donned a Georges Chakra Fall 2017 Couture gown.

What made the design so intriguing was that it fused a sense of edgy futuristic structure with flowy, floral femininity.

From afar, you could even mistake that flower motif for a starry constellation.

The long skirt did seem a bit too long, slightly overwhelming Sonequa’s frame. But I still love the direction she was taking with this look, with her amazing hair topping it off.
