Olivia Wilde In Elie Saab – ‘Kodachrome’ LA Premiere

Olivia Wilde joined Elizabeth Olsen for the LA premiere of ‘Kodachrome’ on Wednesday (April 18) in Hollywood, California.

The actress was a marvel of sequins, rhinestones and lace in her Elie Saab Fall 2018 ensemble.

The designer is known for creating ornate, ethereal gowns so it was nice to see separates — and inky black ones no less. It was also wonderful to see that they still retained the magical quality of the dresses.

She added some sex appeal to the look by layering a bra underneath the blazer. The open neckline ties in the lace panels in the skirt. The latter detail flitted from being modest to revealing, depending on how she posed.

Mackenzie Davis In Calvin Klein – ‘Tully’ LA Premiere

Mackenzie Davis shone at the ‘Tully’ LA premiere on Wednesday (April 18), joining Charlize Theron.

The actress popped against the black backdrop in her sunny Calvin Klein Spring 2018 top and skirt.

The effervescent separates might appear simple in construction with the soft draping but looks can be deceiving.

Some might be wondering whether she left a label on the look. It’s actually a stamp reading ‘Industrial Dip Molded 100% Nitrile/Synthetic Rubber.’

I’m sure that completely changes things for many as the refined pieces are not the first things that comes to mind when thinking of the material.

I don’t mind her taking inspiration from the forest green heels from the runway as she added the Charlotte Olympia Pandora clutch to play into the yellow tones.

Elizabeth Olsen In Christian Dior – ‘Kodachrome’ LA Premiere

Joining her cast of esteemed gentlemen including Jason Sudeikis and Ed Harris, Elizabeth Olsen opted to suit up for the premiere of Netflix’s ‘Kodachrome’ on Wednesday (April 18) in Hollywood, California.

Her Christian Dior suit may look like it was borrowed from the boys, but the actress oozing feminine sensuality in this crisp white wool and silk crepe look.

Some might find the stark white lapel contrast a bit jarring, but I love how it gives a contemporary feel to this sophisticated statement.

Many of you have felt that Elizabeth had gone rogue with her Zuhair Murad and Alexandre Vauthier recent looks, so are you happy to see Elizabeth return to more familiar territory?

Charlize Theron In Christian Dior – ‘Tully’ LA Premiere

Charlize Theron made a stunning appearance at the LA premiere for ‘Tully’ on Wednesday (April 18).

Her long, pleated black maxi dress from Dior’s Fall 2018 collection was equal parts chic and contemporary, with the statement coming from the butterfly motifs.

I adore how the Fred Leighton earrings played a huge part amping up the desirability of this look.

To me, this is proof that understate elegance doesn’t have to be plain or boring.

‘I Feel Pretty’ LA Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

Black was certainly the colour of the night at the ‘I Feel Pretty’ LA premiere on Tuesday (April 17). Lovely ladies clad in the inky shade joined Amy Schumer, Olivia Culpo and Busy Philipps.

Michelle Williams: Many probably won’t be surprised to see the actress wearing Louis Vuitton. What is surprising is the plunging neckline and lack of embellishment on the piece. Normally when she wears darker colours, there’s some whimsical detail to brighten it up. I’m missing her ethereal charm here because the belt isn’t doing enough. It feels very washed out.

Meghan Trainor: The singer put her own twist on the dark colour palette with flared trousers and a white crop top. I love her confidence in the ensemble and how she elevated the pieces to glamorous heights with her jewels and bob. The pants might be just a hair too long.

Olivia Culpo In Ester Abner – ‘I Feel Pretty’ LA Premiere

Olivia Culpo joined Amy Schumer and Busy Philipps for premiere of ‘I Feel Pretty’ on Tuesday (April 17) in Westwood, California.

My first reaction to the model in this Ester Abner Spring 2018 semi-sheer gown is that:

1. This is a refreshing, serene change of pace. I know those of you who believe she tries too hard will agree.

2. This would’ve been a great maternity look for Eva Longoria had she gone to Cannes this year. I am in no means throwing shade at the dress or Olivia. But this dress does have the room to elegantly dress a baby bump.

3. I’m glad she removed the brooch detail. The look feels more elegant without it.

Amy Schumer In Brandon Maxwell – ‘I Feel Pretty’ LA Premiere

There were a lot of black looks on the red carpet for the premiere of ‘I Feel Pretty’ on Tuesday (April 17) in Westwood, California, but it appears – unlike Busy Philipps – Amy Schumer didn’t get the memo.

Instead the actress opted for the divine combo of pink and red, wearing a look from Brandon Maxwell.

If you’re anything like me you will find that tie at the waist really jarring.

I wish it had been tied into a knot so it holds its position. Sewn in place, or removed altogether.

It’s a small detail, but I think any one of those solutions would’ve perfected this look for me.
