Kristen Stewart was in Texas last night attending the SXSW Festival where she continues to promote her new movie “The Runaways”.
The teen actress wore her second Jasmine di Milo dress of the week, after appearing on Jimmy Fallon’s show wearing a silver sequin dress by the designer.
On this occasion she wore a burgundy leather strapless dress from Jasmine di Milo’s Spring 2010 collection which has pockets.
We saw a return of her signature ‘mini mullet’ after she wore her hair in a sleek updo for the New York premiere.
This feels like de ja vu, because yesterday I liked the dress, but hated the heels and I have the same feeling again today.
Seriously, can’t her stylist give her type of heels to wear?
These aren’t even the same as the one’s she wore yesterday as these are by Bally.
Does she travel with a case full of black pumps?

Dakota Fanning walked the red carpet at “The Runaways” New York premiere with Kristen Stewart where they were joined by Joan Jett and Cherie Currie, who the young actresses portray in the movie.
Looking like tinkerbell in her nude embroidered baby doll Elie Saab Spring 2010 dress, Dakota glowed on the red carpet.
The gorgeous dress has an open back and cap sleeves which make this dress so pretty.
She’s swiftly becoming a favourite of mine as she’s always sophisticated, age appropriate and adorable to boot.
Unlike Kristen, Dakota made the right shoe choice, wearing a pair Brian Atwood nude suede “Maniac” pumps.
BDOTW contender in my eyes. What about yours?

Kristen Stewart walked the red carpet at the New York premiere of “The Runaways” last night sporting a new hairstyle. Woot woot.
We were commenting on how she could try to do something new with her hair, and here we have a sleek updo with a few pieces falling down one side of her face to keep the look modern.
Many of you noted a change from her walking the red carpet at the Oscars, but I feel it was from the “The Runaways” LA premiere.
This time last year Kristen would’ve looked like she had to be wrestled into this Emilio Pucci sparkling strapless mini dress, but here she stands tall with plenty of confidence.
I love the dress – she’s clearly having a mini moment – but the black Sergio Rossi heels are killing me.
With all those colours on her dress you would’ve thought her stylist would have picked one to match her dress.
Baby steps…

Julianne Moore was also the “Chloe” New York premiere last night.
I feel hugely disappointed by this look from Julianne. Normally I get 100% from her, but last night I got about 20%.
Just because awards season is over, it doesn’t mean celebs should turn down the glam on the red carpet.
I’m only appreciating this look from the knees up.
I love her pink draped Calvin Klein dress as it’s such a divine colour on her, but tight black tights and grey suede ankle boots????
It’s like she just stuck a knife through my heart.
A Bulgari clutch completed her look.

Talented young actress Dakota Fanning also walked the red carpet for “The Runaways” LA premiere last night.
Like Jennifer Aniston at The Bounty Hunter” London premiere yesterday night, Dakota also wore Valentino Couture.
It looks these ladies will are both becoming brand ambassadors, as Dakota is developing a love for Valentino.
For this event Dakota wore a silver sequin embroidered Valentino Fall 2009 Couture mini dress.
I’m kinda glad the dress was modified to remove the feathered shoulder detail, as it may have overwhelmed Dakota.
Her modification makes the dress simpler and suits her relaxed non fussy style.
From a distance her pumps look black, but they are actually Ferragamo pewter python heels which complement her dress perfectly.
Her make-up is light and fresh, with her hair sleek straight.
There is nothing I don’t like about this look. Definitely a BDOTW contender.

Regulars readers know that if I like something, I like something and if I don’t I don’t, no matter who the celebrity is.
I was delighted to see Kristen Stewart looking very happy on the red carpet at the LA “The Runaways” premiere last night.
She surprised me by wearing this Doo.Ri Spring 2010 dress, because this dress appears to be everything I think Kristen would hate: cute, bubblegum pink and girlie.
I’m equally surprised that I liked her in this dress, because for the first time in a long time she looked happy on the red carpet and comfortable in her own skin.
Confidence is half the attraction, and Kristen had that last night despite not being in her comfort zone wearing this dress.
I still think she would look great in menswear-inspired looks like Evan Rachel Wood, but this look gets a thumbs up from me.
The only downside is that her stylist let her down with the boring black peep-toes. AGAIN.

A svelte America Ferrera walked the red carpet at the New York screening of “Our Family Wedding” this week.
The star was smiling brightly despite the sad news that “Ugly Betty” has been cancelled.
I really loved her cute vintage 1980s Angelo Tarlazzi strapless gold dress from Frock Vintage.
Normally America can be quite conservative on the red carpet, so it great to see her showing us the fun side of her red carpet personality.
What I really loved were those ‘Salt N’ Pepa’ ghetto gold earrings. Perfect choice for her 80s vintage dress.
