‘Power Rangers’ LA Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

There were a host of starlets who joined Elizabeth Banks and Naomi Scott on the red carpet for the ‘Power premiere in LA last night (March 22).

Christina Milian: The actress was almost unrecognisable in her new Freedom Couture ice-blonde wig. Her burnt orange Victoria Beckham ribbed knit midi dress and Gianvito Rossi heels did fare well, but 21HM body chain took this down a tacky route.

Chloe Lukasiak: The young dancer/actress wore a fun, fresh look which included a Milly Spring 2017 bow bustier and Alexis slit trousers.

Skai Jackson: Skai’s custom look from John Paul Ataker styled with a Kate Spade New York Disney Miss Piggy Collection ‘Who Moi’ clutch ensures she stays firmly on my one-to-watch list. This was my second favourite look from this event.

Elizabeth Banks In Self-Portrait & Zuhair Murad Couture – Hollywood Walk of Fame for Haim Saban & ‘Power Rangers’ LA Premiere

Elizabeth Banks joined Naomi Scott for the promo tour for ‘Power Rangers’ starting with the Star Ceremony on The Hollywood Walk Of Fame honoring Haim Saban, before last night’s premiere in LA.

Star Ceremony on The Hollywood Walk Of Fame Honoring Haim Saban: Self-Portrait’s charming feminine aesthetic was on full display in this Spring 2017 striped dress. I love how the asymmetric ruffles and off center placket add some contemporary appeal, however, I’m not a fan of the side-tie detail of her Stella Luna ‘Carioca’ white sandals.

‘Power Rangers’ LA Premiere: Why do I love Elizabeth’s Zuhair Murad Spring 2017 Couture look? 1. For its vibrant blue hue. 2. The shimmer from the beaded embellishments and 3. The 80s retro appeal. Charlotte Olympia platform shoes don’t really appeal, but the rest of the styling including an Edie Parker clutch added the final touch to this solid look.

Scarlett Johansson In Azzedine Alaïa – ‘Ghost In The Shell’ Paris Premiere

Scarlett Johansson joined Juliette Binoche and Adwoa Aboah for the Paris Premiere ‘Ghost In The Shell’ at Le Grand Rex on Tuesday (March 21) in France.

While she took the safe passage for the Seoul premiere, this Azzedine Alaïa Fall 2016 look will join her list of wow moments; mostly for the unexpected nature.

Striking, dynamic, rich in texture and full of intrigue, I love how the Alaïa booties and smouldering eye makeup further emboldens this look.

Juliette Binoche In Christian Dior – ‘Ghost In The Shell’ Paris Premiere

Juliette Binoche attended the Paris Premiere ‘Ghost In The Shell’ at Le Grand Rex on Tuesday (March 21) in Paris, France.

Following her epic Haider Ackermann look from the Seoul premiere, the French actress proved her stylish run on the promo tour is no fluke in Christian Dior.

I love how her luxe Fall 2017 velvet midnight-blue dress presents timeless elegance for the modern woman.

Becky G In Maria Lucia Hohan Signature – ‘Power Rangers’ LA Premiere

Becky G joined Naomi Scott on the red carpet for the premiere of Lionsgate’s ‘Power Rangers’ on Wednesday (March 22) in LA.

Her Maria Lucia Hohan gown is pretty and feminine, with the thigh-high split adding a touch of sensuality, yet I’m so bored.

Why? Because we’ve seen this style of gown from the Romanian designer time and time again.

Meagan Good and Vanessa Hudgens immediately spring to mind, yet there are many other similar gowns I could list too.

Silver sandals and Le Vian diamond earrings and a Harry Kotlar yellow diamond ring completed her look.

Are you feeling fatigued by these Maria Lucia Hohan Signature gowns?

Adwoa Aboah In Gucci – ‘Ghost In The Shell’ Paris Premiere

Better known for strutting down the runway for the likes of Chanel, Erdem and Marc Jacobs; Adwoa Aboah is the latest model to add actress to her resume.

The Ghanaian, English and American star showcased her quirky style donning an Gucci Spring 2017 ’70s-style pastel yellow jacquard suit, which delivers empowered tailoring with the solid black trims grounding the look.

Some might think her Itchy Scratchy Patchy ‘Respect’ embroidered beret takes this look down a comical route, however, I feel it enhances it as she clearly wanted to make this look her own.
