‘The Beguiled’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

More fashionable femmes—specifically, the model set—were out in force for ‘The Beguiled’ Cannes Film Festival premiere on Wednesday (May 24).

Cindy Bruna
: The French model stunned in a Georges Hobeika Couture petal-pink gown enlightened with allover glimmering embellishment. While the top was rather sheer, I was still taken by the gorgeous swoop of the undulating train, with Cindy of course striking the ultimate pose to breathe additional life into the dress.

Jasmine Tookes
: Subtly shaded in lavender, this Georges Chakra Spring 2017 Couture gown maintained the epitome of classic sophistication. I love the one-shoulder silhouette’s fresh, modern edge that was primarily imbued by the wrapped panels. Jimmy Choo heels and Boucheron jewels completed the effect that may have been on the more minimal side for Cannes but still made a mighty impact.

Kirsten Dunst In Schiaparelli Couture – ‘The Beguiled’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Kirsten Dunst was so overcome with emotion on the red carpet for ‘The Beguiled’ Cannes Film Festival premiere this evening (May 23), that she was seen wiping away a tear.

I would be the same if my fairytale dreams had been realised in this breath-taking Schiaparelli Fall 20115 Couture gown.

It’s not a typical look for Kirsten, but one I simply adore.

The silhouette floats with elegance, the embellishments are not too over the top and the Chopard High Jewelry Collection pieces, especially those exquisite earrings.

Nicole Kidman In Michael Kors Collection – ‘The Beguiled’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Nicole Kidman attended her fourth premiere in a row when she stepped onto the red carpet for ‘The Beguiled’ Cannes Film Festival premiere this evening (May 23).

If you’re anything like me, you believe she’s been successful three out of four times; with this Michael Kors Collection Pre-Fall 2017 gown giving her a hat-trick of BDOTW-worthy looks.

I love how her gown evokes the spirit of the roaring ’20s, gracefully sculpting a slender silhouette with an overlaid of long fringes for a dynamic sway – I bet it was mesmerizing in person.

Styled with a deep rouge lip, Gianvito Rossi ‘Portofino’ sandals and Harry Winston jewels, I wonder if this will your favourite of her four look?

Neelam Gill, Doutzen Kroes, Lara Stone, Irina Shayk & Maria Borges In Balmain – ‘The Beguiled’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

The Balmain army dominated the red carpet at ‘The Beguiled’ Cannes Film Festival premiere this evening (May 23).

Juliette Binoche served up a very different look for the French brand earlier in the week, but Neelam Gill, Doutzen Kroes, Lara Stone, Irina Shayk and Maria Borges were all wearing quintessential Balmain custom looks which represent the brand to a tee; afterall Balmain and body-conscious go hand in hand.

Aswash with sequins or festooned with feathers, whether this is your kind of glamour or not, there’s no denying that each lady looks radiant here.

I’m usually a sucker for a sequin, but I am very drawn to feather gowns, especially Lara’s.

Fan Bingbing In Valentino Couture – ‘The Beguiled’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

The second I saw Fan Bingbing on the red carpet at ‘The Beguiled’ Cannes Film Festival premiere this evening, I said to myself, there is going to be several comparisons made to a certain Oscar-winner.

No. This isn’t anything new, but I was swept away by the dramatic floor-length silhouette of this Valentino Spring 2017 Couture gown which is matched a bold red hue and stunning De Deers jewels.

Love it or not, this was one look that promises to turn heads.

Elisabeth Moss In Prabal Gurung – ‘The Beguiled’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

I was worried Cannes Film Festival would pass without one notable moment from Elisabeth Moss; but thankfully she turned things around this evening (May 23) for ‘The Beguiled’ premiere.

Meh, perplexing and too mature would sum up Elisabeth’s look so far, so thank you Prabal Gurung for saving the day.

This rose-pink gown with prominently ruffles brings a fresh, feminine sensibility to Elisabeth’s Cannes style.

Her best at Cannes?

I would go as far as saying this is her best this year. With both the hair and makeup working in perfect harmony, with dainty accessories playing up the sweet feel.
