Lea Seydoux In Louis Vuitton – 2018 Cannes Film Festival Jury Photocall

Lea Seydoux joined Kristen Stewart and Cate Blanchett for the Cannes Film Festival jury photocall this afternoon (May 8).

When tailoring is done right, it makes any outfit look sharp.

This Louis Vuitton Fall 2018 suit is tailored to perfection. The French actress gives the look plenty of flare, by styling it with an LV tuxedo shirt and embellished pumps.

The blazer initially takes you back to the ‘80s with its padded shoulders and pointed peak lapels, but with the bold green hue and rouge lip, the look feels chic and modern.

Of all the jurors, I’m most looking forward to Lea this evening. Mostly because we have no idea – other than the look being Louis Vuitton – what to expect.

Kristen Stewart In Chanel – 2018 Cannes Film Festival Jury Photocall

Kristen Stewart joined Cate Blanchett for the Cannes Film Festival jury photocall this afternoon (May 8) along the French Riviera.

Having been front row at the 2019 Resort show, and an ambassador, I wasn’t surprised to see the actress wearing Chanel.

Her classic boucle suit does feel very feminine, yet I love how her attitude gives the look some boyish charm.

My favourite part of this look, aside from her hair are the high waist trousers – tucked into a simple Re/Done tank – which keeps the look fresh and modern.

White Aquazzura Casablanca heels and cool shades rounded out her look.

Cate Blanchett In Stella McCartney – 2018 Cannes Film Festival Jury Photocall

I usually like to close one event before starting another one, but the fashion gods decided that there is no just thing as too much fashion, so we are rolling (or overlapping) from the Met Gala straight into Cannes.

And we start with the Jury President of the 2018 Cannes Film Festival: Cate Blanchett.

Considering this Stella McCartney pale pink suit is bespoke, the fit isn’t as perfect as it should be.

I’m seeing pulls, bagginess under the arms and other minor imperfections, but I’m willing to overlook them all as I love the fresh hue and the silhouette, plus I adore the Andy Wolf pink acetate ‘Grace’ cat-eye shade she wore with the look, along with Aquazzura Eclipse pumps.

Selena Gomez In Miu Miu – ‘Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation’ LA Photocall

Selena Gomez joined Kathryn Hahn at the ‘Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation’ London photocall on Wednesday (April 11).

With a fresh new, choppy bob, the singer-actress took an adorable turn in this Miu Miu pale-blush frock that glinted with subtle embellishment throughout.

This was a simple, girly ensemble, but it cut such a darling profile that it’s hard not to be completely charmed by how radiant she looked in it.

Kathryn Hahn In Altuzarra – ‘Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation’ LA Photocall

Kathryn Hahn wouldn’t be easily missed at the London photocall for ‘Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation’ on Wednesday (April 11), both on account of her outfit and the character by her side.

With the black and white stripes of this Altuzarra Spring 2018 suiting, I know there will be comparisons to Beetlejuice.

But, given the premise of the cartoon film she’s promoting, I have to imagine she knew exactly what she was doing with this outfit—and it worked for the occasion.

Rather than potentially contend with trousers that were too long, she cuffed them to create a more casual, offhand finish to the tailored pieces.

Could you get on board with the stripes this time out?

Emily VanCamp In Andrew Gn – ‘The Resident’ London Photocall

After the screening of ‘The Resident,’ Emily VanCamp was at the London photocall on Tuesday (April 10).

I was immediately charmed by this prim Andrew Gn Pre-Fall 2018 forest-green frock, especially since the keyhole neckline and pleated neckline and sleeves offered some proper sass to the mix.

I’m generally not a fan of white pumps, but they were made for a dress like this to play off the white detailing.

It was the perfect transitional ensemble between seasons, as we move into spring.

It’s fair to say that some of you weren’t so well-inclined towards her last pink suit, but I think this one could find a more positive footing. Would you agree?
