It has been a while, but finally I am getting my Gossip Girl fix via paparazzi pictures, as we are yet to start Season 2 of the hit show in the UK.

Taylor Momsen was spotted on the Gossip Girl set wearing a very cute grey Topshop lace dress with a cropped tweed jacket, which reminds me of the Chanel Spring 2009 cropped jackets presented last week.

She also wore black tights and very interesting open-toe booties.

Blake Lively was looking fabulous on the set of Gossip Girl in New York last week.

Blake was wearing a grey jersey knit dress, with an embellished waist-band, with a pair of teal suede booties, but what really stood out was her bag.

The actress was carrying a Valentino Fango Nappa Petale Handbag.

The beautiful bag has layers of leather under a beautiful rosette detail on the front, which is definitely the best feature of the bag.

Lindsay Lohan was on the set of Ugly Betty continuing her guest role this week wearing two high end designers.

The actress and tabloid favourite looked very fashion forward in her Balenciaga top from the Spring 2008 collection, which she wore over a plum dress, with heels by Pierre Hardy.

The actress was spotted filming scenes with America Ferrera.

Later on the same day Lindsay Lohan looked pretty sexy wearing plum Hervé Léger Off-the-shoulder bandage dress from the Fall 2008 collection, with turquoise fish net tights and ballet pumps.

It’s no wonder with Patricia Fields as the stylist for this show, that the stars are wearing just high end clothes.

Blake Lively and Leighton Meester were spotted on the Gossip Girl set last week wearing ensembles that referenced My Fair Lady with the girls channeling Eliza Dolittle, pre and post make-over.

The pre make-over costume that Leighton was wearing does not look like it ever made the runway, but Blake’s post make-over look definitely did, as it was shown on the Spring 2008 runway for Ralph Lauren.

Blake’s dress was modified from the runway version to have navy and white stripped bows on the collar, and skirt of the dress, plus a stripped sash was added around the waist, to make the dress as close to Audrey Hepburn’s Eliza Dolittle’s dress as possible.

I would have loved to have seen Blake in a much bigger hat.

Joy Byrant wore the same Ralph Lauren dress back in January, when she walked the red carpet at the 10th Annual amfAR New York Gala as it appeared on the runway.

Gossip Girl overload, I know, but their wardrobe is so fascinating I have to feature them.

Blake Lively and on-screen mum, Kelly Rutherford, took to the streets of Brooklyn to film some shopping scenes last week, and were papped carrying shopping bags from Barney’s and Henri Bendel.

Blake sported a casual look, which including a v-neck blouse, dark wash Rich & Skinny jeans and pair brown leather booties from Nine West, but what particularly caught my eye was the Celine Watch Me Work bag she was carrying.
