So many beautiful ladies attended the ‘Oblivion’ premiere last night, but let’s not forget about the men.
Tom Cruise: I’m sure Tom might have felt that pairing his grey suit with a grey turtleneck made him look more youthful, but I find this look aging. Ferragamo Tramezza special-edition shoes completed his look.
Morgan Freeman: Looking very dapper in a classic tux, Morgan’s notched-lapel suit with satin lapels, flap pockets and a pocket square was styled with a neat bow tie. Because the actor is so cool, he added shades to his look.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau: Adding some colour to the red carpet (and eye candy to the movie), Nikolaj donned a chocolate-brown Ermenegildo Zegna suit. Adding a sweater didn’t have the aging effect it had on Tom’s look, as he also styled his look with a crisp white shirt and copper skinny tie.
Nick Cannon: The host of ‘America’s Got Talent’ joined Heidi Klum on the red carpet at the Rockefeller Center for the New York auditions. Going for a dapper look wearing a two-piece Vivienne Westwood Man suit, I find myself being bothered by the fit of the pants. The blazer features an insert waistcoat, giving the look a smart but trendy feel with a gold chain and button closure He styled his suit with a grey floral brooch, a lavender shirt, a blue printed tie with a tie pin, and grey shoes.
Robert Downing Jr.: The actor is still in Asia promoting the third installment of the ‘Iron Man’ franchise. On this occasion, he attended a photocall in Beijing, China wearing a Calvin Klein Collection Spring 2013 burgundy cotton two-button notch lapel suit. Aside from the obligatory sneakers by Lanvin, this was a surprisingly quirk-free look. I love the colour; the complementary CK shirt and purple tinted glasses help make this one of his best looks so far on this tour.
Alexander Skarsgard: The handsome actor joined Paula Patton on the red carpet last night for the ‘Disconnect’ New York screening. I have one word for Alexander in this Calvin Klein grey suit and black shirt: swoon.
Providing us with yet another fresh take on menswear, Robert Downey Jr. took to the red carpet this evening for the ‘Iron Man 3′ Seoul premiere, held at Times Square in South Korea.
While the colours were traditional, this Vivienne Westwood Fall 2013 tuxedo was anything but.
He wore a black-and-white shawl collar tuxedo jacket which complemented his part-wool, part-satin pants.
Adding another quirk to his look, the actor wore his suit with a white shirt featuring black tips on the collar.
Of course his look wouldn’t be complete without sneakers and even those were toned down, by his standards, on this occasion.
Do you like RDJ’s contemporary interpretation of the classic tux? Should he have worn a black shirt as presented on the runway?

Tom Cruise joined his co-star Olga Kurylenko, who stole the spotlight from her more famous co-star, on the red carpet at the BFI IMAX in London this evening for the ‘Oblivion’ premiere this evening.
The actor, who plays Jack Harper in the science fiction movie, wore a Giorgio Armani Made to Measure charcoal grey three-piece suit.
His sleek suit was styled with a grey shirt and copper coloured neck tie.
Both actors are looking pretty sharp for people who have been on a world-wind non-stop promo tour.
Robert Downey Jr.: The ‘Iron Man 3′ promo tour was kick started with a press conference at the Conrad Hotel in South Korea on Thursday, for which Robert went monochromatic. Always doing things differently, he opted for a light-grey Ferragamo jacket featuring white trim on the edges, and too-long grey pants. I love that he wore sneakers with this look, which stays true to his quirky style, but I’ve never been on board with glitzy sneakers.
Gerard Butler: For the London premiere for ‘Olympus Has Fallen’, Gerard looked his usual dapper self clad in a grey Dolce & Gabbana suit with peak lapels. I like the simplicity of the look, with a grey tie that matches his suit and a classic white shirt, but the pants have too much break.
Aaron Eckhart: In a well-tailored navy suit, Aaron cleaned up handsomely when he joined his ‘Olympus Has Fallen’ co-star on the red carpet yesterday evening. Going with all blue, he matched the notch-lapel suit with a light-blue shirt and a blue tie. I love the all-blue look here on Aaron. Props for wearing pants that fit perfectly.
Josh Duhamel and Fergie were spotted heading to a church in Santa Monica, California for an Easter Sunday service.
While this might not quite be considered their ‘Sunday Best’, they at least made the effort.
Josh wore a lilac shirt and tie with rugged J Brand ‘Kane’ saffron jeans and brown lace-up boots.
Mrs Duhamel wore a Gucci Resort 2013 floral-print kaftan dress – which she wore as a tunic – with purple pants, styled with black leather boots, an oversized tote and round shades.
I’m glad to see that Fergie is fully aware that she is pregnant and isn’t squeezing herself into tight leather dresses like another pregnant celebrity.
I love how the couple manage to colour co-ordinate their outfits, as Josh’s lilac shirt and tie matched his wife’s purple pants.
