Martine McCutcheon celebrated her 33rd birthday at Selfridges Beauty 100 Event yesterday.
The former Eastenders actress wore a silk floral print Matthew Williamson tropical lurex dress, which had angel sleeves, from the designers Resort 2009 collection.
Her look was paired with tights, and a black Louboutin’s. As usual I’m loving everything from the hem up.
I love the mixed of the vivid floral print, with the gold lamé highlights.
This dress can work for either a glamorous day or evening look. You can buy it from Net-A-Porter’s international site for £876/€1,120.

This is a quick response to Ewurafua’s request.
The top Michelle Obama wore when she and President Barack Obama held an Evening of Poetry, Music and the Spoken Word in the East Room of the White House on Tuesday night, was by Basso & Brooke.
The white pants are Maison Martin Margiela.

Michelle Obama visited the
Ferebee Hope elementary school in Washington yesterday. She talked to a group of 3rd grade students, encouraging them to work hard at their studies. She also said their pledge would help her husband, President Barack Obama.
Mrs Obama was wearing a sleeveless navy blue and white polka dotted Lanvin Resort 2009 dress, with navy paillettes on the shoulder.
From the pictures of her sitting down, it’s clear that she shortened the gown, so it was more appropriate for the day time.

You may remember Tilda Swinton wore the gown version to the
17th Annual BAFTA/LA Britannia Awards back in November.
The gown version is available to purchase from My Theresa for £2,289.74/€2,679/$3,643.44.

Last month whilst promoting her album in Europe, Ciara was all smiles as she made her way to
Gare Du Nord train station in Paris bound for London.
Back then she was sporting that two tone coloured hair, which I really dislike, but a Topshop embellished short sleeved knitted top I really like.
I recently tried the orange version on at Topshop, Oxford Circus, but I much prefer Ciara’s, now sold out black version.
The top is available from Topshop in both orange and ivory.

Camilla Belle looked outstanding when she attended the
Push LA premiere back in January.
She was mesmerizing, from the kaleidoscope print on her Alexander McQueen mini dress, to her Jimmy Choo Poem satin sandals, and who can’t help but be curious about those eyebrows.
This is an exquisite piece by McQueen. You’ll stand out with style in this eye catching dress, perfect for evening out, by just adding sky-high heels, and a cute clutch.
You can buy this dress from Net-A-Porter’s international site for £2,665.

If the dress is not to your tastes, Camilla’s
Jimmy Choo champagne satin heels will be.
Purchase them from Net-A-Porter’s US site for $725, or the international site for £406/€540.

Kerry Washington opted for a black and white look for her red carpet appearance for the Washington premiere of
Poliwood this weekend.
Poliwood is a documentary that gives the viewer access to the influence Hollywood has over today’s political process, showing the thin line between politician and actor, news and entertainment, policy and tabloid.
Kerry wore a Narciso Rodriguez Graffiti-print silk dress, with a black leather jacket, a Brian Atwood white leather clutch, and black peep-toes.
The dress has a chic cut, and the leather jacket makes her look slightly edgy, but those bangs are too long.

This sophisticated dress is available to purchase from Net-A-Porter’s
US site for $2,100.
