Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2010 Couture

Some of you have express that you are over bold shoulders, well Alexandre Vauthier isn’t and neither am I.

The shoulders weren’t as voluminous as the pieces in the Spring 2010 Couture collection, but they were very well defined especially by the moon-shaped piece worn by one model.

If ‘Wonder Women’ wore Couture, she’d wear this collection.

It was full of strong powerful statement pieces, which were dynamic, strong, confident, sexy and feminine all at the same time, plus it has her trademark gold touches.

The collection was dominated by black and white looks, but we also got pops of purple.

My favourite piece was the first black and white sleeve dress worn with long black gloves. You’ve got to wiggle in this dress.

I also loved the big bear sleeves on the white coat.

The designer favourited by Rihanna and Monica presented many pieces with very daring necklines.

How low did he go? To the belly button.

Jessica Stam closed the show wearing a gold sequin dress with spikey shoulders.

The models stormed the runway in black and gold Christian Louboutin spiked heels.

Georges Chakra Fall 2010 Couture

Georges Chakra’s Fall 2010 Couture presentation had the perfect mix of mini cocktail dresses, knee-length dress and jaw-dropping gowns.

His celebrity clients who want a piece of old hollywood glamour should look no further.

I loved the body-hugging metallic gowns which were bedazzled with sequins and rhinestones.

As well as gold metallics Chakra’s colour palette included rich plums, maroons and purples alongside black, shimmering aqua and white.

My favourite looks were those made of tulle.

One dress resembled a fan with a cute pink bow on the waist. Can you picture Carrie Underwood wearing this look?

Bows were a theme accenting the waist, hip, the hem and the back of dresses.

Whether you’re a Country singer, an actress, or someone who can afford these gowns, Chakra has produced a look for every woman.

Finale gowns are always eagerly anticipated at Couture shows.

Chakra didn’t let us down as he presented a bow accented wedding gown with laser cut detailing and a full tulle skirt.

Jessica Alba Front Row @ Christian Dior Fall 2010 Couture

Jessica Alba is currently on vacation in Paris, but took time out from sightseeing to take in the wonderful floral delights at the Christian Dior’s Fall 2010 Couture presentation yesterday.

The actress arrived looking lovely wearing a Christian Dior strapless dress which she paired with white open-toe Mary Jane pumps from the Resort 2011 collection.

Her beautiful floral dress was accented with a gold woven belt, which complemented her gold hooped earrings.

I’m not crazy about her hairstyle, but it goes well with the effortless nature of her look.

When Jess left the show, she was spotted wearing white Dior shades as she carried a Christian Dior Minaudiere metal box clutch.

Blake Lively Front Row @ Christian Dior Fall 2010 Couture

Blake Lively was seated at the top table next to Anna Wintour at the Christian Dior Fall 2010 presentation yesterday.

The American Vogue June 2010 cover girl looked amazing.

Boobs Legsy covered up for Dior, wearing a gorgeous simple white Dior dress with Christian Louboutin Luly leather sandals.

At first I was like, “what’s with the fascinator?”, but it quickly grew on me very quickly.

The headpiece was a beautiful touch to a surprisingly demure look from Lively.

See, she’s can display one asset at a time.

I’m so envious of her flawless invisible make-up. It’s so refreshing to see a smile instead of a pout in the front row.

What do you think of Blake’s headpiece?

Christian Dior Fall 2010 Couture

The Christian Dior Fall 2010 Couture presentation was a glorious feast to my eyes.

Every piece was vibrant with colour. Even the black pieces had a pop of colour with the exception of look 24.

John Galliano is a master of his craft. I was in total awe of each piece.

The show recalled the ‘Tulip line’ designed by Christian Dior in 1953.

The floral theme was highlighted by a dramatic backdrop of giant parrot tulips.

It was also highlighted in every piece worn by the models.

They were the stems to the upturned flowers they were wearing.

Everything was so extravagance. From the colour to the swing skirts with cinched waists, to the ballgowns, to the various textures plus layers and layers of detail.

Sheath dresses in mohair and boucle resembled fields of wildflowers in bloom and layered skirts looked like petals.

The gowns were so completely mesmerising. They were big, beautiful and of course resembled petals with ruffles cascading over voluminous skirts.

Eva Green would look amazing wearing that ballgown above. I’m longing for her to return to a more dramatic way of dressing on the red carpet, and this gown has her name on it.

I loved the finishing touches.

Vine-like heels which wrapped around the models feet, and the models heads were wrapped in cellophane of different colours as though they were bouquets of flowers.

Givenchy Spring 2010 Couture After Party – Natalia Vodianova In Givenchy

Model Natalia Vodianova attended Givency’s cocktail party in honour of singer Ciara wearing a look from Givency’s Spring 2010 collection.

I love this draping on her and the white lace shoulder detail adds such a nice contrast to the grey.

I’m not too massively keen on the black leggings and peep toe shoes but Natalia always has a great way of making any look her own.

To be honest, I’ve never really been a fan of  red lipstick with blue eyeshadow but when it comes to this supermodel, I’m willing to make an exception.

I love Natalia in Riccardo Tisci’s designs and she blew me away last year wearing a Givenchy Fall 2009 suit.
