On The Gossip Girl Set With Blake Lively Carrying A Be & D Genesis Satchel

Yesterday Blake Lively was spotted on the set of Gossip Girl sporting an ensemble we’re not used to seeing on Serena van der Woodsen.

Her striped Band of Outsiders blazer, plaid shirt, Joie Buella plaid shorts and loose Brooks Brothers tie all scream school girl, which she accessorizes with wool tights, two tone Rag & Bone brogues and a Be & D Genesis satchel.

It’s not quite “Hit Me Baby One More Time”, but its enough to get male pulses racing.

I personally think that their is too much going on with the plaid, the stripes and the squares.

I’m sure it will look great on TV, but for now she looks ridiculous.

On The Gossip Girl Set With Blake Lively In Carolina Herrera

Blake Lively was on the set of Gossip Girl this weekend filming scenes for the hit TV show.

She looked gorgeous as always wearing a light blue Carolina Herrera Fall 2010 gown.

Her multi-layered silk organza embroidered gown was accessorized with a silver beaded bracelet, a navy statement ring and a light blue clutch.

This ethereal gown is one of my favourite looks on Blake’s character ‘Serena’.

Sometimes the figure hugging dresses can get a bit samey.

She was also spotted wearing a matching lace mask, which will hint at the fact that she was enroute to a masked ball.

We’ll have to see how it all pans out when the episode hits our screens sometime this fall.

On The Gossip Girl Set With Leighton Meester In Ralph Lauren

Leighton Meester was also spotted on the ‘Gossip Girl’ set filming scenes at the Lincoln center yesterday.

The brunette actress was also wearing a gown, but hers wasn’t as sexy as the one Blake Lively wore.

Her Ralph Lauren Spring 2008 blue floral halter dress was the perfect dress for her character ‘Blair’.

Classic and sophisticated.

You may remember that Blake Lively wore a floral dress from this same collection back in 2008 on ‘Gossip Girl’.

On The Gossip Girl Set With Blake Lively In Zuhair Murad

Blake Lively wasn’t in London to promote her new movie “The Town” this week, because she’s still filming ‘Gossip Girl’ in New York City.

The actress was on the set of the hit show yesterday filming kissing scenes at the Lincoln Center with her co-star Sam Page.

Blake wore a Zuhair Murad Fall 2010 gown.

The stunning pewter grey long sleeve plunging lace gown has a sheer skirt with a silk draped detail which falls from her waist.

Her on set look was paired with a matching clutch and grey suede pumps.

From the close up you can see how beautiful the embroidered details are.

On The Gossip Girl Set With Leighton Meester In Alice + Olivia & 3.1 Phillip Lim

Leighton Meester was spotted filming more scenes for Season 4 of “Gossip Girl” in New York City yesterday.

She’s gone from wearing Victoria Beckham to Alice + Olivia this week.

Her latest look included a Marc by Marc Jacobs gold lame top with an Alice + Olivia high-waisted polka dot skirt from the Fall 2010 collection.

Blue suede lace-up ankle boots and yet another Croc-embossed tote completes her look.

I much prefer her off-duty look which includes a KJ by Kirrily Johnston top paired with 3.1 Phillip Lim fringed shorts which are embellished with grommets.

Her chic accessories included YSL ‘Muse’ sunglasses, Balenciaga heels and a Loewe tote.

I’m loving the matchy orange accessories with her blue/grey look.

Gossip Girl Celebrates Fashion’s Night Out

“Gossip Girl” will be featuring the Fashion’s Night Out event during two episodes in Season 4.

The nights to watch are September 13th and 27th in the US.
