On The Set Of Gossip Girl With Blake Lively Wearing Rag & Bone

Earlier this month we saw Leighton Meester on her first day back filming Season 5 of “Gossip Girl.”

Tuesday was Blake Lively’s first day back after a summer of fun (with Leonardo DiCaprio).

She looked super cute and fresh wearing a Rag & Bone ensemble.

‘Serena’s’ boho look included a white Rag & Bone “Aubry” top teamed with a coral Rag & Bone maxi skirt and an embellished Matthew Williamson vest.

Gold Havaiana flip flops and M.C.L by Matthew Campbell Laurenza jewels completed her ‘first day back’ look.

I love her purposefully messy tresses, but that Blamo toy she’s carrying is freaking me out.

On The Set Of Gossip Girl With Leighton Meester Wearing Stella McCartney

It looks like it was a hard first day back at the office for ‘Gossip Girl’ actress Leighton Meester, who was spotted shooting scenes for the hit show in Manhattan today.

The brunette beauty had to do several scenes running in Brian Atwood ‘Maniac’ pumps. She stopped to take the pressure off before finally opting for flip flops between scenes.

Her orange pumps worked perfectly with her citrus print Stella McCartney Spring 2011 skirt, which was paired with a bright yellow ruffled top.

An orange Riki Rosetta tote completed ‘Blair Waldorf’s’ look.

I want this look for my closet. I can almost taste the citrus flavours.

On Set With Leighton Meester Wearing Marchesa

On last nights episode of “Gossip Girl” titled “It-Girl Happened One Night”, Leighton Meester looked absolutely stunning.

She wore a Marchesa ivory silk chiffon gown with flutter sleeves, a cowl back dress decorated with silver floral embroidered details.

You would’ve instantly recognised it as the same dress Diane Kruger wore to the premiere of Inglorious Basterds during the 2009 Cannes Film Festival.

Leighton did also look amazing wearing this dress, but Diane owned it.

I still get a shiver when I see her wearing it.

On The Set Of Gossip Girl With Blake Lively In Ralph Lauren

Blake Lively was seen filming scenes for ‘Gossip Girl’ yesterday on a very cold day in New York City.

She looked as stylish as ever wearing a Ralph Lauren Blue Label wool and patchwork wrap coat which was belted for chic polish.

The cozy coat was styled with luxe brown leather Ralph Lauren boots, brown leather gloves and a forest green chunky scarf.

A Bordeaux Louis Vuitton ‘Hazier’ bag completed the look.

‘Gossip Girl’ aired last night in the US and is due to hit UK screens very soon.

On The Set Of Gossip Girl – Blake Lively In Burberry Prorsum

Following her luncheon wearing Prabal Gurung, Blake Lively was busy back on set of “Gossip Girl” in New York City yesterday.

As Serena van der Woodsen, Blake strutted down the streets of Manhattan wearing a Burberry Prorsum Pre-Fall 2011 trench coat.

Her chartreuse trench coat has a furry detail attached to the shoulders and sleeves.

Since Serena is one of the Upper East sides elite socialite’s, it’s no wonder Christopher Bailey sent her the latest Burberry trench before her frenemies.

The rest of her look included her sand Prabal Gurung Spring 2011 modified dress, Christian Louboutin ‘Bibi’ pumps and a Mulberry Bayswater chocolate bag.

Runway To Gossip Girl Season 4 Episode 8

On Monday night in the US ‘Gossip Girl’ aired episode 8 of Season 4 titled, “Juliet Doesn’t Live Here Anymore.”

I won’t give the storyline away because I haven’t seen it myself as it airs tonight in the UK, but it looks like the girls are going to a grand ball as they’re all looking very elegant in their gowns.

We’ve already seen pictures of Leighton Meester in Ralph Lauren with a Judith Leiber clutch and Christian Louboutin heels, plus Blake Lively in Zuhair Murad with a Halston clutch.

The additional pictures are of Katie Cassidy and Jessica Szohr.

Katie wears a stunning blue pleated J. Mendel Spring 2010 gown with nude cap sleeves.

Her look is paired with a stunning Ranjana Khan necklace and Carlos Falchi clutch.

We’ve seen this gown worn by Tatiana Blatnik and Vera Farmiga.

Jessica wore a printed Christian Cota Spring 2010 gown with a ruffled neckline. Her gown was paired with a tan Lauren Merkin clutch.

On the runway the J.Mendel is my favourite look, but I’m not crazy about how it looks on Katie as it has too much added to it for such an ethereal gown.

On the ‘real-way’ I just love the Ralph Lauren gown on Leighton. It’s the perfect chic look for the Upper East Side princess.
