Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Jessica Alba was spotted headed to Jessica Simpson’s baby shower in LA on Saturday afternoon.

Despite it appearing to be a sunny day in LA, the actress arrived wearing a dark green safari jacket with leather sleeves.

The rest of her look included a simple white tee, a printed scarf and grey leggings.

A yellow Kate Spade New York ‘Chambers Street Carlyle’ croc shoulder bag from the Fall 2012 collection and black boots accessorized her look.

Whilst I couldn’t find the exact jacket Jessica is wearing, I did find two almost identical versions.

Veda’s ‘Jasper’ jacket cost $737 (£482) whereas the almost identical version from Zara.com, which is slightly longer, can be purchased for a mere £79.99.

Soon after her Spring 2012 presentation, Victoria Beckham was spotted wearing her navy and orange colour-block dress on the streets of New York City.

Almost the second it hit the virtual shelves of Net-A-Porter.com, the dress sold out – not surprisingly.

Topshop have been inspired to create a very similar dress. So much so that it even has the VB signature neckline to hemline zipper going down the back.

The VB dress would set you back $2,295, whereas the Topshop dress (sold on Topshop International) is only £49.

You just can’t beat the sleek designs and contouring shape of a VB dress.

Whilst shopping in Brent Cross during the holidays I was shocked to see these Topshop Supreme Extreme platform heels.

The 6.5 inch heels are clearly inspired by the Christian Louboutin ‘Daffodile’ pumps which were the celebrity shoe of 2011, as they were much loved by Victoria Beckham, Lady Gaga and Fan Bingbing.

Now you can try your hand at navigating the streets in these scary looking pumps.

The Daffodile’s would set you back $1,095, but the Supreme Extreme platform pumps only cost $176 from Topshop US and £88 from Topshop International.

I look these pumps and immediately picture long queues at A&E for ankle related injuries.

Would you buy these heels?

The award for most the brand that has most inspired the high-street definitely goes to Miu Miu.

On this occasion it was Topshop who were inspired to create these two-tone black and gold glitter toe-cap pumps.

They are almost identical, but the Miu Miu pumps have a high heel and a gold inside trim to the black on the Topshop pumps.

You can get the Miu Miu heels from Net-A-Porter International, reduced in the sale, for £280 or the Topshop ‘Jamaica’ curved heel frome Topshop US for $110 or Topshop International for £55.

ASOS are known for recreating runway styles at affordable prices.

On this occasion they’ve taken inspiration from Miu Miu’s 40s-inspired collection to create their own midi dress with embellished sleeves.

The dress even has an open back like the runway version we saw on Diane Kruger back in July.

Miu Miu’s dress will set you back $4,105 whereas the ASOS dress cost a mere $154.53.
