Selena Gomez Loves…Rouje

There is something about the insouciant cool of French style that captivates us—celebrities included. That’s why French label Rouje has quickly gained a popular following despite it only launching in 2016.

One fan is Selena Gomez who has happily embraced the line by French It-girl Jeanne Damas. The label reinterprets iconic Parisian basics like floral dresses, camisoles and miniskirts into effortless clothes that slot easily into a modern wardrobe. In Selena’s case, it is Rouje’s dresses that have enchanted her.

First up, the singer donned an inky Rouje ‘Gabin’ dress. The navy dress was speckled with dainty dots and a white button closure on the side. Oval sunglasses enhanced the vintage feel of the frock while box-fresh white sneakers added a thoroughly modern twist.

Keeping the white shoes, Selena stepped out in a Rouje ‘Matis’ dress. The above-the-knee style had plenty of feminine charm thanks to the white and pale blue print, buttons, and gathered seams along the bust line. She once again made it her own with a mix of hoop earrings, aviator sunglasses and a structured off-white handbag.

Lastly, Selena returned to the Rouje ‘Gabin’ dress, but this time in Bordeaux red. She elevated it for evening with rose gold sandals. In keeping with the effortless feel of the brand, she didn’t over-accessorise, choosing instead to let the silhouette of the dress shine.

Cam Loves…Sunshine Yellow

The sun is always shining for country music singer Cam, who has never met a shade of dazzling yellow that she doesn’t love.

Such a bright hue is not always so warmly embraced by celebrities on the red carpet. But Cam has led us down her yellow brick road, and we’re only too happy to follow her lead.

First up on her style play list, a creamy yellow Christian Siriano confection that was both romantic and radiant, especially with her platinum blonde curls.

At the American Music Awards, her outlook only became even sunnier in a luminous and lemony Maria Lucia Hohan halter gown—punctuated by a light teal eye shadow.

For her third time out in yellow, she skipped a dress in favour of a sexy menswear-inspired Topshop suit at the 2017 ACM Awards. With its boldly saturated goldenrod shade, it was the most striking of the three looks and only further emboldened by her silver metallic heels.

Emily Robinson Loves….White Dresses

White is the new black for up-and-coming starlet Emily Robinson, who’s seemingly never met a white dress she doesn’t like.

What makes her frequent choice of the colour so successful is that, despite the monochrome mood, each and every frock is quite varied as can be seen in the mix of silhouette, styling, and textural dimension in three of her recent looks.

Look 1: With this Carolina Herrera dress, she maintained the epitome of both youthful innocence and ladylike sophistication, with the effortless statement only enhanced by the subtle glitz of embellished metallic heels.

Look 2: A frilled Red Valentino frock was all about schoolgirl charm married with a side of all-grown-up allure.

Look 3: With a nod to the girly lace for which the Self-Portait label is known, this dress ensured plenty of visual interest with its mix of patterns and textures—all topped off with ankle-tie Stella Luna sandals.

You may remember that we even saw the actress’s affinity for white dresses early on, with a floral-printed white look at the 2015 Emmy Awards.

Has she left you inspired to start the spring season on a white note?

Lily Collins Loves Her…Milli Millu Chicago Bag

Lily Collins Loves Her Milli Millu Chicago Bag
When it comes to celebrity off-duty dressing, accessories can often be the star of the show. Such is the case with Lily Collins who has elevated her low-key looks with the polish and practicality of the Milli Millu ‘Chicago’ bag.

As she has lately not left home without the taupe version at her side, the sleek, multifaceted bag has proved versatile enough to pair with everything from black denim and booties to sweatshirts, yoga pants, and sneakers.

Equipped with both street smarts and enduring style, the ‘Chicago’ boasts a shapely structure in combination with decent toting ability—for all the can’t-leave-home-without essentials—not to mention the ability to wear the bag cross-body, over the shoulder, or in hand.

Given the sophistication and functionality of the ‘Chicago,’ it’s not a surprise that it has garnered additional fans in Beyonce, Vanessa Hudgens, January Jones, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Pippa Middleton.

Jennifer Lawrence Loves Her…Elizabeth and James Cynnie Woven Mini Bucket Bag

Jennifer Lawrence Loves Her Elizabeth and James Cynnie Woven Mini Bucket Bag

When Jennifer Lawrence isn’t on the red carpet, the actress and face of Dior lets her hair down, retreating to more casual, carefree looks imbued with tomboy charm.

The currently favoured plus-one to her street-style looks is none other than the Elizabeth and James Cynnie woven mini bucket bag, proving its power as the perfect complement.

The on-trend bucket shape of the purse, manifested in Jennifer’s preferred geometric black-and-white print, merges a cool-girl spirit with classic urban refinement.

The bag may be small but it packs a punch, adding a touch of sophisticated edge to everything from ripped jeans and tees to hippie-chic paint-splattered bellbottoms.

That’s one mighty mini.

Alessandra Ambrosio Loves Her…J Brand Demi Flare Jeans & Wildfox Granny Sunglasses

Alessandra Ambrosio Loves Her J Brand Demi Flare Jeans

Skinny is out when it comes to supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio and her current denim obsession, J Brand demi flare jeans, which celebrate a ’70s spirit with the return of the mini bell bottom, faded finish, and patch pockets.

Her favoured Wildfox ‘Granny’ whimsical and way-oversized sunglasses are no shrinking violet either, as she is most fond of pairing them with her J Brands for the ultimate in retro-cool, street-style appeal.

Look 1: Boho styling is tailor-made to flare jeans and quirky sunnies, so Alessandra’s Tart Collections ‘Holly’ wrap with woven patterning and fringe, a Rails ‘Juliette’ loose white crop top, and Celine ‘Trio’ crossbody bag serve as the perfect accompaniments for a mod take on hippie-chic.

Look 2: The mini-bells and shades turn classic prepster when paired with an Armani Exchange yellow textured pullover and Gucci ‘Lady Web’ bag.

Look 3: Rounding out the trio of looks, Alessandra returns to her off-duty boho spirit with a colourful, cropped Minnie Rose sweater, boots, and a Saint Laurent ‘Emmanuelle’ fringe bag that wouldn’t have been out of place at Coachella.

You may remember that Freida Pinto also recently channeled ’70s flair with her pair of J Brand jeans at the AOL BUILD Speaker Series earlier this month.

Talk about a comeback.
