Celebrities Love… Louis Vuitton ‘W’ Bag

Celebrities Love Louis Vuitton 'W' Bag

The 23rd letter of the alphabet has just moved to the front of the fashion line, making waves via the Louis Vuitton ‘W’ handbag. The on-trend new tote not only looks like the letter with its dual-material design, it’s winning a prime spot on the arms of the celeb set who have already embraced its wow factor.

With a classic LV shape, a variety of colour-ways, and a hip twist on the label’s monogram, the ‘W’ bag is the mod new way to lug those logos around. The ‘it’ accessory even snags a sophisticated cameo in the label’s latest campaign with Michelle Williams.

Jessica Alba was first seen with the bag when arriving to her office in Santa Monica, California last week. She opted for the more traditional brown logo tapestry and solid tan tones model, which perked up her off-duty T-shirt and faded flare jeans.

A few days ago, Sarah Jessica Parker really punched up her skinny pants and tank top with a bold canary-yellow version of the purse, featuring embossed LV emblems on each side. This ray of sunshine could brighten any ensemble.

Reese Witherspoon also carted around the ‘W’ just yesterday at the Brentwood Country Mart in Brentwood, California. Cradling it in the crook of her arm, the actress polished up her teal sweater and Goldsign Glam skinny jeans, animal print Christian Louboutin ‘Iriza’ pumps combo with a little bit of Louis.

Celebrities Love…Alexander McQueen’s Mini Heroine

Celebrities Love Alexander McQueen Mini Heroine Bag

Good things really do come in small packages, and the Alexander McQueen Mini Heroine handbag is here to prove it. The pint-size purse is the miniature version of the designer’s signature Heroine medium bag, which launched last fall.

But don’t let its diminutive size fool you—the Mini is still a stylish superhero with the same impeccable construction and luxe detailing of its bigger sister, including the suede lining and the hand stitching. There’s also an added removable and adjustable cross-body leather strap, which trendsetting celebs from Jessica Alba to Zoe Saldana have been quick to embrace.

In early June, we first saw the bag wrapped across supermom Jessica. She had a full load with a carryall tote on one arm and her adorable daughter on the other, with the hands-free chic black Mini Heroine saving the day—and dressing up her off-duty Los Angeles style.

Also taking the elegant black bag for a casual spin, Sienna Miller shouldered the Mini Heroine whilst rocking a full-on boho festival look at Glastonbury several weeks ago.

Ever flaunting her fashion prowess, Zoe just sported the McQueen miniature recently at the Barclaycard Unwind VIP lounge at the British Summer Time Hyde Park concert series in London, where the cross-body bag added some champion flair to her white tank and black jeans. The ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ star was actually the first to be spotted carrying the original Heroine bag last year.

In addition to the classic black version that we’ve seen, the Mini Heroine is available in a range of autumnal hues, emulating the colour palette of Alexander McQueen’s ready-to-wear collection.

Celebrities Love…Stuart Weitzman Gladiator Boots

Celebrities Love Stuart Weitzman Gladiator Boots

The most fearless fashion warriors are strapping into Stuart Weitzman’s ‘Gladiator’ low-heel boots. The knee-grazing, leather-cage contraptions are storming the style battlefield, bringing a sexy, intimidating spirit to the street and the red carpet.

Looping around the legs with bondage-influenced boldness, the ‘Gladiator’ conquers any look, as a range of brave beauties have recently shown us.

Last week, Olympian Sanya Richards-Ross trotted out the hardcore sandals with her high-octane, body-con top and skirt at the screening of her new TV series, ‘Sanya’s Glam & Gold.’

Meanwhile, Kourtney Kardashian put the daring in off-duty, buckling into the summer boots and pairing them with a more feminine, floaty dress, as she made the rounds in Los Angeles, California a week ago.

A newly 21-year-old Selena Gomez also walked with an edge this week. Whilst out and about in Los Angeles, she was spotted in the statement soles, rustling up some mature flavour for her casual T-shirt and hot pants ensemble.

Celebrities Love…White Pumps

Celebrities_Love_White_Pumps

The white elephant in the room that’s stomping around all the red carpets of late? White pumps.

Like it or not, these alabaster soles are a shoe-in for celebrities who are seeking a chic, clean finish to their seasonal exits.

The heels weren’t always so white-haute, though. In the UK, the pasty pumps used to conjure images of ‘80s gaudiness, or even Essex-girl connotations of poor taste, which is why I had such a hard time getting behind them—until recently.

With the chic set strutting them out at every turn, it’s not hard to acquire a taste for this trend that’s taking over wardrobes everywhere.

The shoes show off their highly versatile flair—from funny-girl Mindy Kaling getting style-serious at Guy Oseary’s July 4th party with her white pair, to singer Jordin Sparks pumping up her colourful 2013 BET Awards ensemble with a boost of bleach-white.

Even the conspicuously provocative Miley Cyrus tempered her sexy-sophisticated Emilio Pucci-outfitted trip to New York City’s SiriusXM Studios with her snow-white Celine pumps which she opted to wear again twice this week.

And showing us yet another way to wear the white-out pumps, Krysten Ritter brought a bright edge to her grey Christian Dior tuxedo dress with Jimmy Choo ‘Lilt’ heels at the 2013 Los Angeles Film Festival.

Celebrities Love Giuseppe Zanotti 'Alien' Sandals

Italian designer Giuseppe Zanotti always produces sexy shoes; however, one style has become a favourite for celebs who love statement-making, vertiginous heels.

The Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Alien’ suede sandals were first presented for Fall 2012 and instantly became a red carpet hit.

Stars like Gwen Stefani, Taylor Swift, Brittany Snow, Naomie Harris, Kim Kardashian, NeNe Leakes, and many more have made the black suede sandals with a serpent-like gold-metal appliqué and back zipper so popular that they have been reissued for Fall 2013.
