Celebrities Love…The Nina Ricci “Ondine” Bag Collection

Nina Ricci is known for it’s clothes – and heels after the Fall 2009 collection – but they also make stunning bags.

The Nina Ricci “Ondine” bag collection could be the next line of ‘It’ bags, as many celebs have been seen toting the bags around in recent weeks.

Whilst we were all dazzled by Leighton Meester’s Louis Vuitton dress and red Brian Atwood shoes at the Teen Choice Awards, we didn’t notice her Nina Ricci black python “Ondine” clutch.

Uma Thurman was spotted in Paris shopping with her fiancé Arpad Busson carrying a Nina Ricci bag, and of course RiRi started the celebrity love of this collection carrying the Nina Ricci Pony Bag.

The “Ondine” collection includes 4 models: The Tote, the Hobo, the Shoulder Bag and the Clutch.

All of which are available in a several fabrics (dyed lamb, pony, alligator and calf) and colours (black, lilac, grape, grey, blueberry and bordeaux), but each bag has a distinctive horseshoe-shaped ribbon detail.

Barney’s currently have 6 styles online in black in various sizes, but you can view the full collection at NinaRicci.com.

Lauren Conrad Loves Her Miu Miu Sandals & Marc by Marc Jacobs Satchel

I’m sure many of you will see these pictures of Lauren Conrad matching her tan Miu Miu Double Cross platform sandals with her Marc by Marc Jacobs Dr Q Remy Handbag, and think of two items in your closet that you constant match.

I always match my tan Chloe heels to a tan vintage bag, and my taupe H&M bag with my taupe Nine West open-toe heels. Some things just work well together like Batman and Robin.

Lauren has paired this combo whilst wearing a Kimchi Blue floral playsuit whilst shopping at Barney’s with BFF Lo Bosworth.

She went for a very sophisticated look wearing an ivory blouse and navy skirt whilst headed to Mr. Chow’s for lunch.

And my favourite look was her cute French Connection floral dress worn with her combo whilst strolling in Beverly Hills.

Celebrities Love…Brogue Shoes

If I were a boy, even just for a day I wouldn’t wear brogues.

I have really big feet – UK8/US11 – and I would be scared of appearing to have clown feet, but they’re slowing becoming a celebrity favourite.

Agyness Deyn has been wearing brogues before they were deemed “cool” and other British girls such as Emma Watson and Sienna Miller – in Rupert Sanderson – have been seen wearing these shoes recently.

Last night the trend went stateside as Olivia Palmero was spotted wearing a silver pair at the “BlackBerry Tour Launch Party”.

Brogue shoes can complement a preppy look or add contrast to a ultra cute girlie ensemble. The two-tone ones are the most appealing.

I think by Fall everyone will be wearing these shoes. Topshop have a very large selection of brogues instore and online.

I think this is one trend we will not see Heidi Montag jumping on.

Topshop Kurt lace-up brogues £40
Marc Jacobs metallic lace-up brogues £170
Rupert Sanderson Laura leather brogues £395
Christian Louboutin Fred glitter lace ups £380

Cheryl Cole Loves Alexander McQueen

Many of you have commented that Cheryl Cole’s look is very Victoria Beckham circa 2006.

While it’s easy to see how you came to that conclusion, Cheryl is very much trying to shake off that WAG image.

At the moment she is very fond of Alexander McQueen, and has been seen out and about wearing some interesting pieces.

Her looks have included:
– a colourfully cruel skull tee made up of humming birds.
– black tee with a contrast flesh insert at the front.
– a nude fringed dress with a sheer illusion at the front.
– an McQ Pre-Fall 2009 look with a McQ tassel-embellished leather belt.
– and a skeleton-print tunic.

As much as her looks are becoming edgier, the Victoria Beckham/WAG comparisons will not go away so long as she continues to sport that voluminous hair.

I would love to see her with dead straight hair once in a while or even cut it quite short to take her look to the next level.

Lindsay Lohan Loves Topshop

Just because Lindsay Lohan is a star, that doesn’t mean she’s immune to lusting after the fabulous pieces at fashion mecca Topshop.

This week Lindsay has been spotted wearing two pieces from Topshop.

When she was spotted leaving Sam Ronson house she wore a Topshop Voodoo feather vest with black leggings and Giuseppe Zanotti gladiator sandals.

Her cute Barbara Hulanicki for Topshop dress was worn to the Lia Sophia jewelry launch party in Malibu.

When Lindsay partied at the AXE Lounge in New York last month, she opted for a sexy flower sequin crop top with black jeans and Alexander Wang open top boots.

Lindsay wore a blue sequined Topshop dress at the VIP Room Theatre in Paris last year when she walked the red carpet during happier times with Samantha Ronson.

In an interview with Britain’s Glamour magazine last year Lilo said, “Like everyone else I absolutely love Topshop!”

“I was lucky enough to be able to go shopping at the Oxford Street branch in London when the store was closed and it was just amazing. I had to buy three new suitcases just to get everything I had bought home!”

Celebrities Love…Azzedine Alaia Ankle Strap Sandals

Azzedine Alaia shoes are the crème de la crème of footwear. His lush heels are beyond covetable.

One look at these Azzedine Alaia ankle strap sandals and you can see why.

Utterly desirable.

Sandra Bullock seems to be a particular fan wearing them on more than one occasion.

Jessica Simpson also loves her black pair whilst Lindsay Lohan opted for the deep red version.

The sky-high 5 in heels with ornate cut-out details and a peep toe are timeless. You can wear them now or with black opaque tights in winter.

These heels are currently on sale from Browns Fashion for £490/€572.97/$805.02.
