Celebrities Love…Iris van Herpen X United Nude Heels

You may look at these Iris van Herpen X United Nude heels and think Aliens have landed, but they are a hot favourite with celebs right now.

Solange Knowles gave them their red carpet debut when she sat front row at Charlotte Ronson’s Spring 2011 fashion show, and since then Kim Kardashian and Louise Roe have been spotted wearing them.

The United Nude shoes were created ats part of a collaboration with Iris van Herpen.

The numerous thin strips of gold leather are twisted to give three-dimensional characteristics to these unique heels.

These limited edition shoes are without a doubt the statement piece of any outfit.

Celebs Go Dotty For D&G

The colourful polka dots of the D&G Pre-Fall 2010 collection has been quite popular with celebrities.

Eva Herzigova was spotted wearing this collection first when she arrived at the Majestic Hotel during Cannes Film Festival.

She wore her multi-coloured polka dot dress under her pink D&G coat paired with Giuseppe Zanotti ankle boots and a Dolce & Gabbana’s Miss Sicily bag.

Rihanna fell in love with the D&G polka dots when she wore this adorable jumpsuit to her after tour party.

The look worked perfectly with her red hair as she wore her jumpsuit with Christian Louboutin Big Lips pumps.

At the Angel Awards Hollywood 2010, Sara Rue’s shoe of choice was also Louboutin which she paired with her flirty D&G polka dot dress.

Other celebs such as Christina Hendricks and Emma Bunton have been spotted wearing this mini trend too.

There is a variety of D&G polka dot looks online from a chiffon blouse with pussy bow tie, spotted silk-crepe mini dress, a ruffled polka dress and a polka dot wrap dress.

Celebrities Love…Ombre Hair

At first I thought stars were too busy to get their roots done, but the two-tone look has turned into a full blown trend.

Ombre hair is here to stay whether we approve or not.

Former MTV “The Hills” reality star Kristin Cavallari is the latest star to embrace this trend, as she was spotted leaving the Neil George Salon in Beverly Hills yesterday showing off her new do.

Her Farrah Fawcett style included some extra layers and extra colour.

We all know Kristin is a full blonde, so it’s clear she asked for the darker colour on top to jump on the ombre hair trend.

Other fans of this look are Drew Barrymore, Erin Wasson, Nicole Richie, Rachel Bilson and the pioneer Alexa Chung.

Are any of you sporting this trend?

If you are too worried about dying your hair you can always add hair pieces to try to achieve the same look.

Celebrities Love Simone Camille Bags

I only recently become aware of Simone Camille when their range of bags were added to Net-A-Porter US and Net-A-Porter International two weeks ago.

You’ll maybe surprised to learn that they have been restocked several times as the bags instantly sell-out.

I’m a bit behind because celebs like Miley Cyrus, Nicole Richie and Jennifer Meyer have been fans of these bags for a while.

Yesterday Julia Roberts arrived for her appearance on “The Late Show with David Letterman” wearing a black tee and J Brand jeans which is quite a typical look for her, but it was her Simone Camille which stood out.

The range of bags have been created by LA stylist and globetrotter Simone Harouche.

She launched her line of handcrafted bags last year after a bespoke design for Nicole Richie created a huge demand.

The bags are created from vintage textiles Simone has collected from around the world, which I suppose justifies the £1,300 + price tag for a large bag.

A typical bag from the Simone Camille is multi coloured, embroidered by hand, made of cotton and decorated with coins, mirrors, pompoms and bead embellishments.

I wouldn’t be surprised if your initial reaction was that these bags are hideous, but I quite like them as I love anything that has a touch of ethnic flavour.

If you would like to have your own made-to-order bag, Simone Camille will be happy to create your custom bag.

Brian Atwood Fall 2010 – “It’s All About The Heel”

During Fall 2010 Milan Fashion Week, I visited the Brian Atwood studio to view his Fall 2010 collection.

As I breathlessly scanned the hundreds of pumps, boots, sandals and ankle boots on display one thing instantly stood out.

“It’s All About The Heel.”

Each piece had something decorative on the heel to make it stand out.

Diamante, chains, contrasting coloured heels, bows, and snake-skin heels added a touch of flair and vitality to the collection.

I really appreciated this detail because not only does it make the collection truly distinctive, but it also gives Atwood his signature for the season therefore making his heels easily identifiable for me.

Celebs love Atwood’s decorative heels.

Victoria Beckham wore Atwood’s ‘RZ’ boots which have a chain detail down the back. She also loves his nude ‘Drama’ pumps with a black heel. Nicole Scherzinger is a fan too.

Megan Fox wore Atwood’s ‘Donna’ patent pumps and Ashley Greene recently wore Atwood’s Bordeaux suede ‘Cristal’ heels with a gold ribbons.

Heels just got sexy thanks to Brian Atwood.

Celebrities Love…Mulberry Neely Tote

The Mulberry Neely tote is the newest celebrities must have.

The chic and sophisticated Neely is a modern tote for busy girls-about-town.

The Fall 2010 bag is named after the lead character in “Valley of the Dolls” and will be available in a number of colours and fabrics.

It works well on duty as demonstrated by Olivia Palermo and off-duty as shown by Michelle Trachtenberg, Fearne Cotton and Blake Lively on the ‘Gossip Girl’ set.

With the ‘Alexa’ Mulberry bag selling out the moment it goes on shelves, will it’s sister bag become a big hit too?

Celebrities Love…3.1 Phillip Lim Edie Studded Bag

The 3.1 Phillip Lim Edie studded bag first came out in black and red during the fall of last year.

It sold out so fast that us mere mortals couldn’t get our hands on it.

That’s because Diane Kruger, Rachel Bilson, Nicky Hilton and Leighton Meester had all been spotted carrying the lust worthy bag causing a huge demand.

Well good news, the bag is back for Fall 2010, but this time in a buttery grey colour.

What I love about this bag is that the bow is ultra girlie, but the studs add a roughness to it.

Girl meets punk.

It was added to Net-A-Porter US site today, so get it quick before it sells out again.

Rachel Bilson loved her 3.1 Phillip Lim bag as she was spotted carrying it everywhere.

Celebrities Love…Nobody Denim

Australian denim label ‘Nobody’ has gone from being unknown, the being worn by many celebs including Rihanna, Beyonce, Kristen Stewart, Emily Blunt, Olivia Wilde and Emmy Rossum to name a few.

If you haven’t heard of the label before, you’ll be surprised to learn they have been going since 1999.

J Brand and Seven For All Mankind jeans are the most popular brands, but celebs have sort an alternative through ‘Nobody’.

Jessica Alba shopped for Perrier wearing her cult jeans. Zoe opted for mod tube mid rise skinny jeans at the Kids Choice Awards.

Jennifer Garner hung loose in her Boyfriend jeans and Ashley Greene opted for the navy mod straight jeans.

There’s something for everyone tastes, cut and style preferences.
