Red Carpet Fashion Awards

‘Prada to Nada’ hit theatres in January, so for the last 11 months Camilla Belle had nothing but her great style to promote.

I have given her special recognition award as she attended many high profile events wearing high end designers on the back of one project this year.

Her finest moment was in Ralph Lauren, but she also stunned in Gucci and Tom Ford.

There were no other candidates for Man of the Year, because Ryan Gosling has pretty much had it in the bag since Cannes Film Festival.

He was frankly robbed by People magazine for the title of ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ as he was so very dashing every time he hit the red carpet.

The Canadian heart-throb appears to take the red carpet seriously by opting for perfectly fitting Italian tuxedos in vivacious colours such as midnight blue, ruby or bottle green to set himself aside from other fellas in classic black or navy.

His favourite designers have been Ferragamo and Gucci. My personal favourite is the blue Ferragamo suit he wore at Cannes.

I can’t wait to see him hit the red carpet during awards season.

Kirsten Dunst didn’t have a makeover of any sorts, but there was something very different about her this year.

We noticed it during Cannes Film Festival as she was more polished; everything about her was more refined and elegant.

Did she get a new stylist? Is she in love?

We don’t know what she did, but this ‘invisible makeover’ did wonders for her.

Elizabeth Olsen made her major red carpet debut during Cannes Film Festival whilst promoting her new movie, ‘Martha Marcy May Marlene’, wearing two looks from her sister’s line, ‘The Row’.

From the moment the fresh-faced beauty came on the scene, she has become a darling on the red carpet.

Thankfully she doesn’t share her older sister’s love for oversized, shabby chic, preferring a more sophisticated classic style, wearing designers like Erdem, Chanel, Valentino and Calvin Klein.

Elle Fanning was voted the Best Dressed Teen Star of 2011.

This was no easy feat with many teen stars heavily competing – and, in Chloe Moretz’ case, pouting – on the red carpet to steal her crown which she’s held since bursting onto the scene last year.

Her style choices reflect that she is still in no hurry to grow up, opting for stylish, classic choices from Rodarte, Valentino and Chanel, whilst still opting for younger, fun looks by Opening Ceremony, Marc by Marc Jacobs and D&G.

As she’s still only 13-years-old, she still has plenty more years to dominate this category.

My favourite look is still her Marc Jacobs Resort dress followed by that adorable Valentino Couture look at the Met Gala.

They say a picture paints a thousand words, well so does a dress on the red carpet.

Some celebrities made strong statements just by donning a dress or a gown.

Here’s what they said to me.
