Sandra Bullock picked up many Best Actress awards this season, but she didn’t always make the Best Dressed list.
Many people just didn’t get Sandra’s style. Her Bottega Veneta and Alexander McQueen (NAACP) looks were heavily criticized despite the former not being too bad.
I loved the Alexander McQueen dress she wore to the SAG Awards. It was by far her finest moment (imo).

Mo’Nique swept the awards for Best Supporting Actress at every major event this awards season.
She caused controversy over her unshaven legs and Oscar speech, but we’re here to talk fashion.
Her confidence grew on the red carpet, although her husband was blocking our view of most of her looks.
My favourite was her gold Reem Acra gown. It may have been the gown that exposed us to her hairy legs, but it was the one that really made her glow.

Lea Michele started her awards season with an Oscar and ended it with an Oscar…de la Renta of course.
I was more interested and wowed by Lea Michele on the red carpet this awards season than Carey Mulligan.
They’re both red carpet newbie’s, but Lea’s look had more variety.
All of these looks are amazing, but my heart belongs to her stunning green Malandrino gown.

Before Awards season many of us didn’t know much about Anna Kendrick, but she quickly became a favourite not only with us, but big name designers.
My personal favourite is the Elie Saab Spring 2010 Couture gown she wore to Oscars.

I had such high hopes for Carey Mulligan, but her awards season style ended up being just OK for me.
I wasn’t really blown away, but I did like how different her Vionnet gown was so that was my favourite.

With Thandie Newton seemingly retired from the red carpet, I’ve been looking for someone to take her place.
Thandie always gave us nothing but 100% perfection on the red carpet. She was consistent, elegant, sophisticated, chic and not afraid to wear unknown designers.
Zoe Saldana has taken the baton from Thandie and run both hard and fast with it.
She introduced us to Prabal Gurung and has lit up every red carpet she’s graced.
She was our red carpet queen of 2009 and shows no sign of slowing down in 2010.
My favourite look of Awards Season was her Givenchy Couture Oscar dress.
She showed no fear in this gown. I love her for that and making many of our red carpet dreams come true.
The Oscars can often be a bit of an anti-climax as everyone goes safe, but Zoe stepped up and took first prize.
