Best Dressed Of The Week – Penelope Cruz In Elie Saab Couture & Kristin Davis In Vintage Jean Desses

I expected you guys to vote for Sarah Jessica Parker BDOTW, but you all fell in love with Penelope Cruz wearing Elie Saab Couture to the Cannes Film Festival closing ceremony.

This has to be one of Pen’s best looks this year. She was absolutely glowing.

I think this week should not pass without recognition going to Kristin Davis.

SJP may have grabbed the headlines because of her Alexander McQueen dress and Philip Treacy hat, but Kristin for me had the most impressive run this week for both the New York and London premiere’s and after-parties.

My favourite was her vintage Jean Desses from Decades.

I’m always longing for colour on the red carpet and Kristin gave it to me in this perfect pretty pink vintage dress.

Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend and Bank Holiday weekend.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Cheryl Cole In Roberto Cavalli & Elizabeth Banks In Georges Chakra Couture

Despite many of you not knowing much about Cheryl Cole other than her looks featured on this blog, you still voted her your Best Dressed this week.

Her Roberto Cavalli gown was truly stunning and she carried it with such grace.

Many of you really disliked Elizabeth Banks’ Georges Chakra Couture dress but it was my favourite this week.

I’m not usually a fan of mullet dresses, but between the colours and the frothy nature of the dress I fell very quickly in love with this dress.

I didn’t add it to the poll because this dress didn’t even make second spot in it’s day poll.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Fan Bingbing In Elie Saab Couture & Dragon Robe By Laurence Hsu

We both voted Fan Bingbing as Best Dressed This Week, but we picked very different looks.

You all fell in love with her wearing a nude Elie Saab Spring 2009 Couture gown.

I loved how Fan paid tribute to her Chinese roots.

Her dragon robe by Laurence Hsu was a breath of fresh air.

I was totally captivated by the oriental motif embroidery and how it was perfectly modernized without looking too cheesy.

Celebuzz dared to say she was one of the worst dressed at Cannes.

Thankfully their readers set them straight.

Who Was Your Best Dressed This Week?

The Best Dressed of the Week has been complied from the Cannes Film Festival top 2 looks as voted by you, and other looks from the week.

Hopefully that will answer “why isn’t ‘insert name’ in poll?”

Thanks for all your comments this week.
