Best Dressed Of The Week – Lily James In Elie Saab Couture

Best Dressed Of The Week Lily James

You will not be surprised to see Lily James take home the best dressed prize this week in Elie Saab Couture.

Even those of you who are very much over Elie Saab princess gowns had to stand up and applaud this well-theme effort.

I think it is safe to say this look will end up on many BDOTY lists.

With regards to the new poll. This has been put in place following the sudden closure of Twiigs. We are still trying to make tweaks to the current format, but please be assured that votes are being counted.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Diane Kruger In Donna Karan Atelier & Rosamund Pike In Givenchy Couture

BDOTW 2 march

Red was the colour of the week as the majority of our favourites donned the colour on Oscar night.

Emma Stone’s 100% record of winning best dressed polls was finally broken by the one and only Diane Kruger, who took our breath away in a crimson Donna Karan Atelier jumpsuit.

After a truly lacklustre awards season, Rosamund Pike finally gave us something to smile about on Oscar night, wearing a stunning Givenchy Couture gown. Had she been an Olympic hurdler, this would’ve been her jumping the final hurdle before crossing the finishing line having knocked over all of the previous hurdles.

With Eddie Redmayne suppressing his love for colour and patterns this awards season, my favourite by far was David Oyelowo for standing out in his bold red Dolce & Gabbana, while you went for the classic elegance of the dashing Chris Pine.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Emmy Rossum In Donna Karan Atelier

Best Dressed Of The Week - Emmy Rossum In Donna Karan Atelier

I can finally take a breather to announce, not that there was any doubt, that Emmy Rossum was your best dressed last week.

While some questioned the colour and the straps, the rest of us were sold on Emmy’s Donna Karan Atelier gown plus her remarkable presence.

This is the kind of Donna Karan Atelier gown we all long to see more of and more often on the red carpet.
