Maggie Gyllenhaal will kick-start the “AP Effect” for 2007 as Agent Provocateur unveils her as the first of its four new temptresses: Miss AP.

The campaign takes the format of a four-episode collection of “sexy adventure booklets”, The Adventures of Miss AP.

The first titled Lessons in Lingerie stars Gyllenhaal as a mysterious muse of seduction who trains wannabe starlets Mindy and Tallulah at her exotic “academy for starlets”.

The stars set to feature in the following three “episodes” of the story remain top secret for now, but AP is confident they’ll ensure their one-off collection of naughty stories will become highly collectable among discerning fans – and voyeurs.

The stories can be viewed online in 4 days time at www.agentprovocateur.com with the next episode, Lady of the Manor, launching in November.

Dolce & Gabbana are aiming to cause controversy within the fashion industry again with their latest ad campaign for Fall 2007/08. The ads feature women in dominatrix style whips and fully naked men. (Oh my)

The design duo are known for their controversial ad campaigns and this season is no exception.

“It’s the vision of a dream more than reality, where the whip symbolises women’s power and where the naked models refer to a classic beauty inspired by Michelangelo,” explains Stefano Gabbana to WWD.

“Since these images have offended someone, we want to stress that we wanted to represent a strong and dominatrix woman, as is today’s woman,” he added

“We wanted to place this artistic reference above everyday reality, but there was no intent to be vulgar or offend anyone’s human dignity.”

I totally agree that they are very powerful ads. I don’t understand why people get so negative about these images. We see worst in music videos.

I love those ‘hand’ bags in the top picture, and those footless stocking are surprisingly sexy.

What a great campaign.

Sienna Miller appears in her second campaign for Pepe Jeans.

The first campaign was inspired by the movie “And Got Created Women”. This campaign was inspired by her movie “Factory Girl”.

“The goal is to create a feeling of a ‘pop world’ that reminds the viewer of Andy Warhol while maintaining a fresh and modern look”
, said a spokesperson for Pepe Jeans. I think the ads are fulfill the brief.

Sienna is gorgeous in this campaign. She is such a cool chick.

The ads were shot by photographer, Mikael Jansson, and also feature Italian model Nico Derobertis.

Supermodel Carolyn Murphy and the hottest new male model Tyson Ballou appeared in the first ads for ‘Seven For All Mankind’ Jeans.

When I saw these ads I thought….meh? They are just OK. They have a very catalogue feel to them, whereas I would have expected high fashion. When their counterparts, Levis, Diesel and even the Gap are producing great advertising I expected a little more.

I own about 5 pairs of Seven Jeans, and every girl I know owns a few pairs, so I they are not short of a penny or two. So why the lacklustre advertising?
