Natalia Vodianova In Valentino Couture – The Backstage Gala in aid of The Naked Heart Foundation

Natalia Vodianova In Valentino Couture - The Backstage Gala in aid of The Naked Heart Foundation
Natalia Vodianova attended The Backstage Gala in aid of The Naked Heart Foundation at The London Coliseum on Friday (April 17) in London, England.

The model always wears head-to-toe red for The Naked Heart Foundation, and this latest gala was no different.

Her Valentino Fall 2014 Couture goddess gown was the embodiment of classic Hollywood glamour with an obi-inspired sash belt adding graceful structure to the fluid lines of the dress.

The red theme continued in her accessories, yet the real stunner was her diamond and pearl necklace.

I did find the handbag and jewels slightly at odds with each other—a more minimalistic look would have fared beautifully without them, too, with Natalia’s retro waves and bare-faced makeup completing the effortless effect.

Blake Lively In Marc Jacobs & Roksanda – ‘Good Morning America’

Blake Lively In Marc Jacobs & Roksanda - 'Good Morning America'

Blake Lively paid a visit to the ABC Studios for her guest appearance on ‘Good Morning America’ today (April 21) in New York City to promote her new movie, ‘The Age of Adaline’.

Arrival: I was bitterly disappointed by her first look from Marc Jacobs’ Fall 2015 collection. The look feels look feels really rigid and matronly on Blake. The out of season feeling is also very jarring. Things improved somewhat when she removed the coat to reveal a part leather dress. The only positive it that her Christian Louboutin ‘Tucsick’ pumps were perfectly matched.

Departure: My reaction to the second look was, “BOOM”, this is more like the Blake Lively I know and love. I think her colour-block Roksanda Lockwood dress and coat from the Resort 2015 collection is easily her best look this week which she styled with Christian Louboutin ‘Front Double’ Silver glitter and gold specchio detailed pumps. Chic, sophisticated and modern; it’s hard not to fall in love with this outfit. You guys didn’t like her premiere looks, so I am guessing you might be in agreement. I hope to see more exciting looks like this on her promo tour.

2015 Tribeca Film Festival Chanel Artists Dinner

2015 Tribeca Film Festival Chanel Artists Dinner

The 2015 Tribeca Film Festival Chanel Artists Dinner was hosted at Balthazar in New York City on Monday (April 20), where the fashion house’s famous fans gathered to raise a toast.

Zoe Kravitz: While it was lovely to see the actress’s softer side in this Chanel ensemble consisting of a pink cropped sweater and flirty, flared patterned skirt, I simply couldn’t get past those white pumps.

Cobie Smulders: I loved Cobie’s Chanel outing which artfully combined patterns in a painterly, watercolour top and tweed trousers. Her ‘Ladies First’ handbag put the final tongue-in-cheek zing into the look.

Michiel Huisman: He wore a navy Jack Wills suit and Haspel Clothing Hawaiian-print shirt with wife Tara Elders in an army-green dress and black shoulder bag. While it’s hard to argue with the actor’s handsome gaze, I simply don’t understand this island-inspired look on this occasion.

Vanessa Hudgens In Alice + Olivia – ‘Fun Home’ Broadway Opening Night

Vanessa Hudgens In Alice + Olivia - 'Fun Home' Broadway Opening Night

Vanessa Hudgens attended the Broadway opening night performance of ‘Fun Home’ at Circle in the Square Theatre, on Sunday (April 19) in New York City.

The actress opted for Alice + Olivia again, this time selecting a beautiful botanical print crop top and ball skirt from the Spring 2015 collection, which is a true celebration of the current season.

As much as I love a twist, I couldn’t get on board with the leather jacket; it feels so cumbersome with her two-piece look. Perhaps if had it also been cropped it would’ve worked better.

Claire Danes In Narciso Rodriguez – Performance Space 122 2015 Spring Gala Honoring Claire Danes

Claire Danes In Narciso Rodriguez - Performance Space 122 2015 Spring Gala Honoring Claire Danes

The Performance Space 122 2015 Spring Gala was held in Claire Danes’ honour at Capitale on Monday (April 20) in New York City.

The ‘Homeland’ actress wore a Narciso Rodriguez Spring 2015 two-piece look, which I love for it sleek silhouette and modern dual fabrication.

I’m disappointed that the nude panel wasn’t transparent for a smoother transition, but it doesn’t totally put me off loving this look, which sees Claire step out of her play-it-safe box.

Does the panel ruin the look for you?

Ruth Wilson In Balenciaga – A Gala Celebration In Honour Of Kevin Spacey

Ruth Wilson In Balenciaga - A Gala Celebration In Honour Of Kevin Spacey

Ruth Wilson attended the gala celebration at the The Old Vic Theatre in honour of Kevin Spacey, as the artistic director’s tenure comes to an end on Sunday (April 19) in London, England.

I have always been a fan of Ruth Wilson’s style; she likes to take risks and never plays it safe. However, I couldn’t get on board with this latest look from Balenciaga’s Pre-Fall 2015 collection.

Why? I find the dress so very unflattering on Ruth, doing nothing to enhance her figure – in fact, doing the opposite by making her look boxy.

The lacklustre styling and modification to the skirt isn’t helping matters.
