Rihanna In Armani Privé – 2017 Grammy Awards

After attending the Roc Nation Pre-Grammy Brunch yesterday, Rihanna was back in action at the 2017 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 12) in LA.

No head was left un-turned when she whooshed onto the red carpet in a custom Armani Privé gown.

The shiny orange crop top was obviously designed specifically to show off her ink, and somehow it worked with the over-the-top drama of the black ball skirt’s undulating waves.

It’s clearly a look only the likes of RiRi could pull off, styling it with a smattering of sparkling Chopard jewels and flowing, romantic waves.

Whether you love it or loathe it, this entrance is what the Grammys are all about—all-out glam mixed with daring edge. I actually found myself warming up to its punk princess spirit.

Charli XCX In Vivienne Westwood – 2017 Grammy Awards

Charli XCX was one of the ladies in red at the 2017 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 12) in LA.

The silhouette of this strapless gown is undeniably that of a Vivienne Westwood design, with the corseted, fit-and-flare shape and the exaggerated sweetheart neckline.

That said, it came off as rather mature and somewhat dated for the young entertainer who could have likely had a lot more fun with her look on a night such as this.

The gathered train also created a pouf at mid-leg that canceled out any elongating effect.

Halsey In Christian Wijnants – 2017 Grammy Awards

If you were waiting for THAT hide-your-eyes moment at the 2017 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 12) in LA, you can be assured Halsey delivered it.

Only half-dressed, she wore a Christian Wijnants Spring 2017 ensemble.

The only redeeming quality of this get-up is its electrifying, vibrant blue hue which actually is a beautiful one for the entertainer.

What is ultimately a cross between pajamas, parachute cargo pants, and an oversized windbreaker, the look suffered most notably in execution. It was way too big and too long, and the wrinkles had me wondering if she had actually slept in the outfit.

She accessorized with a Vita Fede body chain because, with a completely bare chest, what else was she to do.

Demi Lovato In Julien Macdonald – 2017 Grammy Awards

Demi Lovato slinked across the red carpet at the 2017 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 12) in LA.

Don’t let the long sleeves of this sultry Julien Macdonald Spring 2017 gown fool you.

The textural, intricately woven dress checked the box on all the hallmarks of smoldering style, with its see-through and peek-a-boo, body-con design paired with an Edie Parker clutch and David Yurman jewels.

I do love that the keyhole cutout was slightly less exposed than the runway presentation, as there was enough already laid bare—and those extra-long locks did nothing to cover up this risque glamour goddess look.

Tori Kelly In Badgley Mischka – 2017 Grammy Awards

Tori Kelly was also on the red carpet before hitting the stage to perform a star-studded tribute to the BeeGees at the 2017 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 12) in LA.

Absence of any of the evening’s more prevalent ostentatious glitz, the singer relied on the gorgeous dark-green hue of this Badgley Mischka gown to make a statement.

And it did.

While the flamenco effect of the tiered ruffle silhouette of the dress wasn’t anything to write home about, golden accessories including Neil Lane jewels and an Edie Parker clutch brought a layer of glamour to the more casual look.

Kelsea Ballerini In Ines Di Santo – 2017 Grammy Awards

Before taking the stage to perform, Kelsea Ballerini walked the red carpet at the 2017 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 12) in LA.

The singer wore an Ines Di Santo corset gown that was blooming with a sweet garden of dimensional floral embroidery.

While some may take issue with the nude hue, which could have faded into the background, both the robin’s egg blue accent colour and her glowing makeup did enough to create a luminous touch for this feminine look.
