Christian Siriano Celebrates The Release Of His Book ‘Dresses To Dream About’

Designer Christian Siriano celebrated the release of his book ‘Dresses To Dream About’ on Wednesday (November 8) in New York City, with his fashionable fan club in attendance.

Coco Rocha: This Christian Siriano dress may have been monochromatic, but the creamy design was far from boring. It directly tapped into Coco’s flair for the dramatic with the ruffle motif and peplum waist—all topped off with a spirited hat that was within the model’s wheelhouse, even if I could have done without it.

Drew Barrymore: Part of me would have loved to have seen this happily vibrant pink, floral Christian Siriano frock on its own accord without the blue coat and chunky magenta platforms.

Christina Hendricks: Putting the power of an LBD look to work for her, she donned this Christian Siriano design that featured extra flair in the shimmering, zipper top and caped sleeves. I know the choice of plain pumps will leave many quite uninspired, though.

Gigi Hadid In Lanvin – Out In London

After Gigi Hadid was promoting her Gigi Hadid x Maybelline collaboration in London earlier this week, the model was seen out in in the capital yesterday (November 8).

I love how she brought such seductive ease to this Lanvin Fall 2017 bustier blouse when partnering it with the boyish flair of cropped, faded denim.

With her draped coat, diamonds, and metallic pumps serving as willingly elegant counterparts, this was an ode to glam street-style that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Dressy-casual meets cool-girl style, and I’m all for this union.

Haley Bennett In Alexander McQueen – ‘Darkest Hour’ LA Premiere

Haley Bennett stepped out for the ‘Darkest Hour’ LA premiere on Wednesday (November 8) in Beverly Hills, California.

With a darkly dramatic look befitting of the film’s title, she donned an Alexander McQueen Fall 2017 embroidered turtleneck dress paired with Charlotte Olympia shoes.

The glint of the red cording throughout is what yielded a near bewitching effect to the plisse frock.

Yet, Haley ensure a sense of lightness stayed within the look given her wispy updo and fresh-faced beauty.

I do wish the sleeves had been marginally shorter.

Yara Shahidi In Paco Rabanne – The Hollywood Reporter’s Next Generation 2017

Yara Shahidi was at The Hollywood Reporter’s Next Generation 2017 celebration on Wednesday (November 8) in LA.

Gray menswear suiting took on new meaning in her Paco Rabanne Fall 2017 ensemble, with an intriguing mix of feminine and androgynous themes.

Yara seems to have the innate ability to bring vibrancy to any look–even one that’s cast in multiple shades of gray.

I like the modification of the tailored waistband at the natural waist to increase the elegance of the tunic top and parachute pants.

Asymmetrical earrings completed the look with a sparkling, on-trend twist.

Millie Brady In Blumarine – The Perception at W London Launch

Millie Brady attended the official launch of The Perception at The W Hotel on Tuesday (November 7) in London.

The union of PJs and a robe served as inspiration for this Blumarine Pre-Fall 2017 floral-print pyjama suit that likewise showcased the velvet trend.

Given the lounge-y mood, I would have preferred slightly sleeker attention paid to the styling.

I think a slick bun and a pair of heels would have helped bring it out of the bedroom. What about you?

Abbie Cornish In Milly – ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ New York Premiere

Abbie Cornish was at the New York premiere of ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ on Tuesday (November 7).

Nodding to a certain western-style flair, she teamed a white bib blouse with the girlish flirtation of a Milly layered tulle, lattice skirt.

Seeing this look above the waist, with the lariat-inspired necklace, I could almost envision her opting for boots instead of the Casadei white, strappy sandals.

Despite this look being all-white, something felt a tad bit disjointed. Would you agree?
