Clemence Poesy In Michael Kors & Anne Berest In Chanel Couture – Deauville American Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Clemence Poesy In Michael Kors & Anne Berest In Chanel Couture - Deauville American Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Clémence Poésy and Anne Berest walked the red carpet together at the 40th annual Deauville American Film Festival opening ceremony in Deauville, France on Friday (September 5).

The twosome were certainly a sight to behold.

Clémence Poésy: The French actress completely surprised me by wearing a mannish Michael Kors Fall 2014 number, consisting of an oversized silhouette manifested in a dark long jacket, white blouse and micro-printed pants. The question that still remains in my mind was whether this was slouchy-chic, or just plain slouchy.

Anne Berest: She also ripped a look straight from the runway, except hers was a far more formal design, yet no less bold in nature from Clémence’s unorthodox outfit.. The highly decorative Chanel Fall 2014 Couture gown featured an abstractly printed black-and-white ball skirt contrasted by an intricately woven bodice and a hint of glitz via the doorknocker pendant detail.

It’s an unlikely pairing of styles, but they actually seem to coordinate on some level. What do you make of the duo?

Megan Fox In Cushnie et Ochs – ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Sydney Special Event Screening

Megan Fox In Cushnie et Ochs - 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Sydney Special Event Screening

Continuing her promo of ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,’ Megan Fox attended a special screening of the movie at The Entertainment Quarter in Sydney, Australia on Sunday (September 7).

Yes, this ‘Turtles’ tour has been characterized by the actress’s full-on embrace of short-and-sultry dresses, so it’s no surprise that Sydney saw another rendition of the same. Nor should it come as a shock that Megan raised the hemline on this Cushnie et Ochs Resort 2015 design several inches from its lookbook version.

Still, it’s difficult to deny the allure of this bold statement—from the vibrant orange and white colour-blocking to the label’s signature sexy cutouts lending a figure-flattering edge.

As for that glossy long braid, it can only be described as fierce.

I would have just changed out the white sandals for a nude pair, or even a matching pumpkin-orange pump seen on the model.

Kwiat Jewelry completed her look.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

A group of guys grabbed some stares recently with their sartorial statements at a variety of events. Here, a look at the handsome offerings over the past few days—I couldn’t be more elated to not see a basic black suit in sight.

Channing Tatum: Looking hot and polished, the actor was at the HFPA & InStyle’s 2014 TIFF celebration during the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival at the Windsor Arms Hotel. He definitely made that dark, midnight-blue three-piece suit look good.

Josh Lucas: Cutting a sharp profile at the ‘Boychoir’ premiere during the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival at Roy Thomson Hall, Josh suited up in a Salvatore Ferragamo dark navy, two-button peak lapel suit, paired with a white button-down shirt, a navy patterned pocket square and brown calf shoes. Here, his decision to go tie-less worked in his favour—as did this stunning blue hue.

Adèle Exarchopoulos and Chloe Sevigny In Louis Vuitton – Louis Vuitton ‘Series 1′ Shanghai & Tokyo Events

Adèle Exarchopoulos and Chloë Sevigny In Louis Vuitton - Louis Vuitton 'Series 1' Shanghai Events

Adèle Exarchopoulos and Chloë Sevigny were both on-hand for the Louis Vuitton ‘Series 1′ back-to-back events in Shanghai and Tokyo, celebrating designer Nicolas Ghesquière’s debut collection for the house, as well as the brand’s legacy. Outfitted in Louis Vuitton—natch—the girls made for a dynamic duo.

Adèle Exarchopoulos: The young French starlet was lovely in a Resort 2015 pink dress with a feminine flounced hem, paired with graphic, black-and-white pumps and a black Epi Petite-Malle clutch. The black accessories and the sporty zipper detailing on the dress keep this bubblegum look from venturing too sweet and twee. And, those shoes are everything here.

Chloë Sevigny: She also turned pastel-pink on its head, donning a Resort 2015 suit that had a retro-mannish appeal that I loved, what with with its buttons, exposed pockets and seaming. The galactic silver Vuitton bag and metallic pumps only added more quirk appeal, with the contrasting red belt and red lip the oh-so-right cherries on top.

Reese Witherspoon In Dolce & Gabbana – ‘The Good Lie’ Toronto Film Premiere

Reese Witherspoon In Dolce & Gabbana - 'The Good Lie' Toronto Film Premiere
Reese Witherspoon returned to the red carpet for the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival, attending the premiere of ‘The Good Lie’ on Sunday (September 7) at The Elgin in Toronto, Canada.

Reminding us that fall is but right around the corner, the adorable actress was lovely in a transitional look from Dolce & Gabbana.

The dark-plum dress struck a dramatic chord with its embossed textural fabric and short bell sleeves, accented by vintage-inspired, statement buttons. So, I’m glad the short A-line silhouette lightened the effect, as did her leg-lengthening golden-nude sandals.

She finished the ensemble with a sweet, girl-next-door blonde blowout, upping the sultry factor with a smoky, kohl-rimmed eye and nude lip.
