While we are accustomed to seeing ‘Scandal’ actress Kerry Washington take the red carpet by storm, co-star Darby Stanchfield made her own impactful entrance at the ‘Scandal’ photocall during the 53rd Monte Carlo TV Festival today in Monaco.
Her Yuna Yang dark burgundy-and-black micro-print frock may have reminded me of the fall season, but it undoubtedly packed a dose of moody and mysterious appeal.
Along with a significant sheen factor, the dress featured a swingy, double box-pleated skirt and a dropped waist silhouette, nicely offset with a thick black waistband.
Darby accessorized with a Jerome C. Rousseau ‘Jem’ embossed python clutch and double-strap black heels, which offered a slight retro-flapper vibe.
Despite the intensity of the dress, she managed to bring a lightness to the look, likely due to her radiant complexion and her flame-red hair. Even swept back into a ponytail, her locks still commanded attention.
