Hailee Steinfeld was also in the mix at the 2015 Vanity Fair Party at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday (February 22) in Beverly Hills, California.

The trendsetting starlet took a dramatic turn in an Andrew Gn Pre-Fall 2015 gown that really took my breath away.

Manifested in a rich, multicoloured palette, the Byzantine-inspired tapestry pattern was bold and beautiful, creating a stained-glass effect.

Amping up the look even more was the shine of the sequined bodice, not to mention her magenta-oxblood lip.

With her ponytail adding a youthful flair, this look sees Hailee showing a more mature style stance yet still maintaining the risk-taking, directional edge that we’ve come to expect and appreciate.

Chloe Grace Moretz attended the 2015 Vanity Fair Party at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday (February 22) in Beverly Hills, California.

Slipping into something a bit more sultry than her Oscars gown, the starlet grew up before our very eyes in an Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2015 black lace number.

While this was a more mature look for her, it still possessed a youthful, boho flair with its scattering of mini flowers and tiered, embroidered skirt.

She likewise owned the directional bell accent sleeves, and I’m so glad she kept the waist-cinching black leather belt.

Her half-up, half-down ’do was the sweet answer to that punchier red lip.

I much preferred this particular brand of charming sassiness over her evening’s earlier look. Do you agree?

Felicity Jones was also at the 2015 Vanity Fair Party hosted by Graydon Carter at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday (February 22) in Beverly Hills, California.

Wearing significantly less fabric than on the Oscars red carpet, the actress said goodbye to the over-the-top ballgown and hello to a far trimmer silhouette.

Her Saint Laurent black column gown was sleek and chic—and a complete transformation from her earlier look.

This look sees Felicity at her best—in an effortlessly sophisticated statement that doesn’t look like a workout to walk two steps in.

The gigantic, doorknocker emerald earrings miraculously don’t even bother me with the embellished turtleneck—after all, she had to bring the big and bold somewhere.

Margot Robbie In Christian Dior – 2015 Vanity Fair Party

Margot Robbie In Christian Dior - 2015 Vanity Fair Party

Margot Robbie attended the 2015 Vanity Fair Party hosted by Graydon Carter at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday (February 22) in Beverly Hills, California.

Switching from her sultry boudoir moment at the Oscars ceremony, the actress selected a more lighthearted Christian Dior strapless dress with graphic black and white striping—immediately reminding me of Zoe Saldana’s likewise black-and-white wardrobe change.

The same gorgeous hair and makeup look from earlier in the evening remained, what with her bold red lip and straight platinum locks fully in play.

Aside from her leaning tower of Pisa pose, my one argument here is that her face is just too striking for this dress. She needs a gown that can live up to her beauty.

Keira Knightley In Valentino Couture – 2015 Oscars

Keira Knightley In Valentino Couture - 2015 Oscars

Keira Knightley was also in attendance at the 2015 Oscars, held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (February 22) in Hollywood, California.

Following a familiar bohemian vibe, the actress’s Valentino Spring 2015 Couture confection was very much a Keira gown.

The smocked bodice and wispy layered chiffon skirt were whimsically embroidered with a garden of needlepoint floral and swooping, cursive phrases; it was a softly gracious silhouette for her burgeoning baby bump.

While she didn’t wear Chanel, she did style the look with Chanel Fine Jewelry, also crowning her wavy locks with an embellished headband.

At first I wasn’t drawn to the nude colouring against her alabaster skin, but the poetic, dream-like quality of the gown won me over.

Yay or nay?
