Paz Vega In Salvatore Ferragamo & Pamella Roland – Cannes Film Festival Parties

Paz Vega In Salvatore Ferragamo & Pamella Roland - Cannes Film Festival Parties

Paz Vega continued her delightful red carpet turns as she attended two more events on Friday (May 16) during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival.

The Art of Elysium’s 6th Annual PARADIS: Kicking off her day at the Art of Elysium’s 6th Annual PARADIS at Villa St. George in Cannes, Paz looked simply stunning in a Salvatore Ferragamo blush long sleeve dress with sheer panels and blush lace-up pointed toe Ferragamo heels. A chic up-do, berry lip shade and sparkling jewels rounded off this elegant and uber feminine look.

Swarovski And Viktor & Rolf Party: Paz rounded off the day’s events by attending a party hosted by Swarovski and Viktor & Rolf. Wearing a dark navy and black Pamella Roland Fall 2014 dress with sheer panelling and sleeves, the form-fitting dress oozed sassiness. Paz’s side-sweeping hair and soft smoky eye give just the right amount of attitude while a pair of Christian Louboutin pumps, an embellished clutch and layered rings added to this polished and uber sultry look.

Undeniably beautiful, Paz wows in both of these looks. And while they’re both different styles and for completely different occasions, the Pamella Roland dress just has the edge for its styling and cut.

Lily James In Marni & Peter Pilotto – Cannes Film Festival Parties

Lily James In Marni & Peter Pilotto - Cannes Film Festival Parties

Lily James attended a host of parties during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival in the south of France.

Charles Finch Filmmakers Dinner: On Friday (May 16) the ‘Downton Abbey’ actress attended the Charles Finch Filmmakers Dinner in a royal blue mid-length Marni dress with embellished shoulders. A patent belt cinched the waist and simple sandals and a black Mulberry ‘Kensal’ clutch completed the classic and demure look.

Vanity Fair and Armani Party: The following evening Lily attended the Vanity Fair and Armani Party (May 18) in an altogether more edgy and youthful look. Opting for a form-fitting embroidered Peter Pilotto dress, Lily complemented the look with an on-trend ear cuff and chic up-do. The actress recycled her shoes and clutch from the previous evening but with such a dramatic dress, it was hardly noticeable.

Lily has chosen two pretty and elegant looks here but by far my favourite is the Peter Pilotto number. While the Marni is elegantly beautiful, the printed number is just a game changer, don’t you agree?

Zoe Saldana In Etro – Relativity At Ten Luncheon

Zoe Saldana In Etro - Relativity At Ten Luncheon

Zoe Saldana attended the ‘Relativity at Ten’ luncheon on Sunday (May 18) as part of the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival.

Wowing in a vibrant Etro Spring 2014 dress, Zoe gave a master-class in summery daytime dressing.

The yellow and white printed shirt dress with sexy deep neckline and feminine gathered detailing at the front was a stand-out choice for the midday event.

A colourful pink lip shade, relaxed waves and chic black sandals were all that was needed for the finishing touches.

Fresh and colourful, and perfect for the day and occasion.

Sophie Turner In Michael Van Der Ham – Arqiva British Academy Television Awards

Sophie Turner In Michael Van Der Ham - Arqiva British Academy Television Awards

Joining Naomi Campbell and a host of stars, actress Sophie Turner attended last night’s Arqiva British Television Awards ceremony at London’s Theatre Royal (May 18).

Championing a British designer like she has done so many times on the red carpet, the Games of Thrones star opted for a strapless Michael Van Der Ham column dress.

While I’ve enjoyed her colourful Mary Katrantzou printed dresses in the past, it’s great to see Sophie opt for a more grown-up, paired-back palette and silhouette.

The dress is elegantly cut and the smoky eye and gunmetal clutch complement the palette and make for an altogether sexy and sultry look.

I do however think the dress deserved a more slick hair style, possibly something like a side-swept ponytail. Do you agree?

Suki Waterhouse In Armani Privé & Peter Pilotto – Cannes Film Festival Parties

Suki Waterhouse In Armani Privé & Peter Pilotto - Cannes Film Festival Parties

Making her Cannes Film Festival debut, model Suki Waterhouse is attracting big name designers as she continues on the busy party circuit.

Vanity Fair and Armani Party: On Saturday (May 17) Suki wore a Middle Eastern inspired printed full skirt and fitted jacket from the Armani Prive Spring 2014 collection. While it’s unusual to see the young model so covered up, it is equally as great to see Suki try out a new silhouette. I particular love the way Suki has contrasted the rich blue palette and luxurious silk fabric with unkempt hair, a signature flick of eyeliner and not much else. A little bit of London cool girl and a little bit of Cannes makes this a great evening look for Suki.

Relativity at 10 Party: Attending the Relativity at 10 luncheon the following day (May 18) Suki switched up her style once again in a strapless floral Peter Pilotto dress. Perfect for the midday Cannes sunshine, this look was much more fresh and romantic. While I think stringer make-up would have help give the look a lift, it’s suitably feminine, flirty and with a sporty feel and a great choice for the young star. While I don’t love the shoes, a white sandal does say more daytime than a pointed court would have done.

Out of the looks, the first is my favourite. Not just for the styling, but for the fact it’s much more unique and shows off Suki’s quirky styling abilities.
