Selena Gomez In Dolce & Gabbana - 'Spring Breakers' Madrid Premiere

Selena Gomez joined Vanessa Hudgens at the Callao Cinema in Madrid for the premiere of ‘Spring Breakers’ on Thursday.

The actress has continued to up the edge of her red carpet looks during her premiere tour, and this dress from Dolce & Gabbana is no different.

The curve-hugging black lace gown with corseting up the side is decidedly more sexy than Selena’s sweet choices of red carpets past.

She styled the dress with blue and red teardrop earrings from Dana Rebecca Designs and a floral J/Hadley ring.

Selena’s dark eye makeup and nude lip complemented the sex appeal of the dress perfectly, but her hair not so much. I love the idea of a low, oversized bun, however the style was too loose and messy, making it seem like the actress pulled her hair back at the last minute.

Jaime King In Peter Som - Rembrandt Hollywood Party Prep Event

Jaime King walked the red carpet at the Rembrandt Hollywood Party Prep event at the W Hotel in Hollywood on Wednesday.

The ‘Hart of Dixie’ star wore a look from Peter Som Spring 2013.

Known as a successful style chameleon, Jaime normally strays from overly ladylike styles but she hit the sartorial jackpot with the pale blue bustier bodice and tiered tweed-like pencil skirt.

The actress went full-out girly and accessorized the look with pointed toe Christian Louboutin pumps with bow details, Graziela earrings, and Melinda Maria pyramid bangles and rings.

Jaime’s neutral beauty choice works well with the retro style, but I can’t help but wonder if a classic red lip would have completed the look better.

Naomi Campbell In Azzedine Alaia - 6th Annual Essence Black Women In Hollywood

Naomi Campbell joined name twin Naomie Harris at the 6th Annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Thursday.

All smiles from her new stint as model coach on ‘The Face’, Naomi chose to wear a short and sweet dress by one of her favourite designers, Azzedine Alaia. This is the second time Naomi recently wore  the designer, which she sported to the season premiere of her new show.

The lightly pink, high-neck dress offered a pleasantly exaggerated take on the fit-and-flare silhouette with perforated darted details and soft pleating.

The look was a bit more sweet than what the model typically gravitates towards, but it worked. Especially so as the saccharine dress was styled with gladiator-inspired Alaia shoes that brought the right amount of sass and edge to the look.

The model opted to top off the dress with a casual down hairstyle, less-is-more makeup, and bangles.

Karolina Kurkova In Roland Mouret - The Tonight Show with Jay Leno

Supermodel Karolina Kurkova flew in from Milan to be a guest on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ Thursday night.

There to promote her new gig as a model coach on ‘The Face’ on which she stars alongside Naomi Campbell and Coco Rocha, the model showed off her enviable figure in a dress from Roland Mouret Spring 2013.

The dress, which was previously worn on the red carpet by Samantha Barks, was a perfect study in color-blocking by mixing a fresh winter white with Pantone’s colour of the year, emerald. The halter neckline and high-waisted dress fit the model perfectly.

I’m thrilled Karolina ditched the belt shown on the runway and she expertly continued the two-toned theme from the hemline all the way down to her toes, as she paired the dress with black-and-white Christian Louboutin ‘Paulina’ pumps.

Naomie Harris In Monique Lhuillier - 6th Annual Essence Black Women In Hollywood

Naomie Harris opted for spring colours at the 6th Annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Thursday.

The ‘Skyfall’ actress wore a frock from Monique Lhuillier Resort 2013.

The white and mirrored floral patterned sheath dress looked beautiful on the actress, which she expertly styled with a purple Edie Parker ‘Lara’ clutch.

I’m typically a fan of Naomie’s style—her penchant for streamlined silhouettes and bold colours are always spot on—but I’m not fond of the heavy, black Stuart Weitzman ‘Showbiz’ booties and down hairstyle paired with this dress.

The look calls for a more delicate shoe choice and though her hair looks lovely, it hides the mirrored detail. I’d suggest a sleek, low bun at the nape of the neck.

How do you think the shoes and hair paired with the Lhuillier look?
