Natalie Portman In Christian Dior Couture – 2017 SAG Awards

Natalie Portman hit the red carpet at the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

The pregnant actress wore an ivory Christian Dior Spring 2017 couture gown with gorgeous diamond Tiffany & Co. jewels.

While I am typically a huge proponent for wearing non-maternity clothes when you’re pregnant, I’m afraid I just can’t love this dress on Natalie. She has had to size it up so large to fit her burgeoning belly that she simply looks like she’s wearing a sack with cool sleeves.

However, from the neck up, Natalie is perfection. Her textured updo is graceful and elegant and her mauve smokey eyes, pink cheeks and lips are gorgeous.

Sophie Turner In Louis Vuitton – 2017 SAG Awards

Sophie Turner took a striking turn on the red carpet of the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

The ‘Game of Thrones’ actress wore a red Louis Vuitton gown with LV high jewelry.

I am so on board with Sophie’s entire vibe! The asymmetrical bodice of the gown adds a fun edge to an otherwise classic silhouette and her beauty look is the perfect mix of glamorous (those deep red lips) and young Hollywood (those purposefully long roots). Get. it. girl!

Michelle Williams In Louis Vuitton – 2017 SAG Awards

Michelle Williams also attended the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

The star wore a striped, metallic sequin Louis Vuitton gown with a LV high jewelry choker-style sash as a necklace.

While Michelle looks beyond chic, my initial reaction to this gown is simply that I’ve seen it before. It just feels ‘done’ for some reason, even with the very au courant choker.

I am absolutely living for Michelle’s beauty look! Her signature platinum pixie is on-point, as usual, and her nude lip and liquid-lined eyes are perfection.

Viola Davis In Vivienne Westwood Couture – 2017 SAG Awards

Viola Davis attended the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

The ‘How to Get Away with Murder’ star wore a white, strapless Vivienne Westwood Couture gown, which she paired with a dramatic diamond collar and black box clutch.

Can we just stop for a second and say how amazingly radiant Viola is? And while this dress isn’t going to be memorable five years from now, I love the contrast of the white satin on Viola’s gorgeous skin, and I don’t have any complaints about the look.

Thandie Newton In Schiaparelli Couture – 2017 SAG Awards

Thandie Newton wowed on the red carpet of the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

The actress wore a whimsical, jewel-encrusted Schiaparelli Fall 2016 gown

This is what is called a ‘lot of look’, yet I really appreciate it on Thandie! The whimsy of the print is completely surprising on such a formal gown, and it brought a smile to my face, which I love. I don’t necessarily understand what the ultra modern shoulder piece has to do with romantic, almost vintage feel of the dress, but yet again, I am buying it completely on Thandie.

Steering away from the heavy footwear that we saw on the runway, and wearing understated, retro-inspired hair and makeup adds to this heavily editorial look, and I just continue to eat it up.

I feel like this one will be polarizing though: Love it, or leave it?

Naomie Harris In Lanvin – 2017 SAG Awards

Naomie Harris attended the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

The British actress opted for a striped satin Lanvin pantsuit from the designer’s Spring 2017 collection. And what a great decision it was!

It’s not every day that a look comes to life even better in ‘real life’ than it does on the runway, but Naomie absolutely makes this look her own, and wears it perfectly.

This look could have been a major risk for many women, but not so for Naomi. I do not have a single complaint about her head-to-toe ensemble, and I love that she also chose to wear her hair down for a completely ‘unconventional’ red carpet turn.

So, are you as smitten by Naomie’s look as I?
