Get The Look: Jessica Chastain’s Ultra Glamorous Golden Globe Awards Waves

72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards - ArrivalsThere was no denying that Jessica Chastain looked like a classic Hollywood bombshell at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday. While her stunning figure-framing draped gown and sultry makeup noted the style of vintage Hollywood beauties, it was her perfectly polished waves that made this look extra glamorous.

Celebrity Hairstylist Renato Campora drew inspiration from the vintage silhouette of Jessica’s Atelier Versace gown and created a look that took an elegant spin on the iconic side swept loose curled hairstyle. Here’s how you can achieve this ultra glam look at home:

Renato recommends starting with freshly washed and conditioned hair. To ensure an evenly hydrated and nourished foundation, she used Wella Professionals Elements Renewing Shampoo and Daily Renewing Conditioner.

Like any glamorous hairstyle, smooth lustrous hair is a must. Prior to blow drying, Renato applied Wella Professionals Elastic Energy Mousse to damp hair and proceed to brow dry small sections with a round brush.

Once hair was evenly blow dried, Renato used a 1.5 inch curling iron and concentrated on creating voluminous curls at the bottom half her hair. To further enhance the smoothness of the hair, Wella Professionals LuxeOil Light Oil Keratin Protection Spray was applied to the top of the head to keep any fly-aways at bay.

To achieve that super glamorous sheen, a little bit of Wella Professionals Smooth Brilliance Shine Pomade was blended on the fingertips and applied it to the front of Jessica’s hair. As the finishing touch, Renato misted the air with Wella Professionals Stay Essential Finishing Spray.

Get The Look: Sienna Miller’s Fresh Golden Globes Awards Makeup

72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards - ArrivalsMuch like her radiant embellished gown, Sienna Miller seemed to be glowing from within at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards. While her perfectly tousled tresses paired well with you gown, it was her fresh beauty look that truly accented the glamorous elements of her full look.

Drawing from the boho-chic tones of her Miu Miu dress, Celebrity Makeup Artist, Charlotte Tilbury created a polished look that still remained fresh and effortless. Allowing the skin to be the focal point of the look helped Charlotte create an ethereal makeup look with hints of glamour.

Here’s how this makeup guru achieved this flawless look.

Prior to applying any cosmetics, Charlotte emphasized the need for perfectly prepped skin. Opting for a mask, Charlotte prepped Sienna’s skin with Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask (to launch March 2015). Once that was complete, Charlotte blended a moisturizing layer of her Magic Cream and followed with a light layer of Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow to ensure bright and hydrated skin.

Once a healthy canvas was achieved, Charlotte applied a mixture of Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation (6 Medium and 7 Medium) to skin. To brighten the under eye areas, Charlotte applied Charlotte Tilbury Retoucher Concealer (2 Fair) and chose a shade darker (3 medium) for areas along the rest of the skin.

To set the foundation, Charlotte opted for a light dusting of Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Powder (1 Fair and 2 Medium) along the t-zone. Not only did this allow Sienna’s dewy complexion to shine through but also added to the longevity of the makeup.

To achieve that lustrous glowing look, Charlotte used Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow. She enhanced Sienna’s skin by subtly applying bronzer along her cheekbones, jaw line and temple. For added dimension, Charlotte then layered Charlotte Tilbury Beach Sticks in Ibiza atop the bronzer. Next, Charlotte achieved that dreamy radiance by sweeping Charlotte Tilbury Moonbeach highlighter along the top of the cheekbones. For a light flush of color, she chose Charlotte Tilbury Formentera on the apples of the cheeks.

Charlotte groomed Sienna’ brows and enhanced them with Charlotte Tilbury Brow Lift in Grace K and Cara D.

Charlotte defined her eyes by lining the lash line with Charlotte Tilbury The Classic Powder Eye Pencil in Audrey and layering Charlotte Tilbury Rock ‘n’ Kohl Liner in Barbarella Brown over that deeper intensity. For shadow, Charlotte used shades from Charlotte Tilbury The Luxury Palette in The Sophisticate. Using a blending brush, Charlotte blended the enhancer shade into the creases of Sienna’ eyes for added depth and followed with the pop shade at the inner corner and blended it along the upper lash line to the outer corners.

Charlotte heavily coated Sienna’s upper lashes in her favorite Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Mascara (Glossy Black) and lightly applied mascara to the lower lashes.

To ensure a smooth canvas, Charlotte applied Charlotte Tilbury Lip Love Lip Scrub to remove any makeup or dry skin and followed with a light coat of Charlotte Tilbury Lip Magic Lip Balm.

Charlotte enhanced Sienna’s natural lip shape with Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Iconic Nude. For a base shade, she applied Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Sexy Sienna and layered over a light swipe of K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Nude Kate.

Get The Look Felicity Jones’ Sophisticated Golden Globe Awards Updo

With all the embellishment and glitz seen on Sunday evening’s 2015 Golden Globe Awards red carpet, Felicity Jones’s elegant Dior gown was a welcomed change.

The English actress brought a touch of her English sophistication to the ceremony and popped in the deep green dress. With such a graceful look, it was only natural that celebrity hair stylist Tommy Buckett create an equally fitting updo for the petite actress.

Using an array of Garnier and T3 products, here’s how you can recreate this simple and chic hairstyle:

PREP: Once hair was washed and conditioned, Tommy prepped Felicity’s hair with Garnier Brazilian Smooth Flatiron Express. He then sectioned the hair and blew it out with a T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i Dryer using a T3 Anti-Gravity 2.5” Barrel Brush.

STYLE (PREP): After the hair was blown out, Tommy spritzed her entire hair with an even coat of Garnier Sleek & Shine Iron Perfector Straightening Mist. He then flat ironed Felicity’s hair suing the T3 SinglePass Straightening Iron.

STYLE (UPDO): Once hair was straightened, Tommy back-combed the crown of her hair and created a deep side part. He then gathered the hair into a low ponytail at the nape of her neck. To ensure smooth and healthy looking hair free of flyaways, he applied a small amount of Garnier Fructis Marvelous Oil Deep Nourish at the tips of her hair. Once applied, Tommy arranged the ponytail into a knot and secured with bobby pins.

As a final touch, Tommy sprayed Jones’s hair with Garnier Sleek & Shine Finish 5-in-1 Serum Spray. Not only did this give the hair a soft sheen but kept it in place for the duration of the evening.

Tommy proved that one does not need to go above and beyond with hair on the red carpet. Choosing a simple and elegant hairstyle can speak volumes in formal settings.

Get The Look: Emma Stone’s Bold Smoky Golden Globes Beauty Look

Emma Stone Golden Globes MakeupEmma Stone has always been one to sparkle on the red carpet.

A fan of stunning and statement making looks; Emma’s ensemble at Sunday evening’s Golden Globe Awards was no exception. Her unique embellished Lanvin jumpsuit served as the perfect inspiration for her cool and daring beauty look.

Celebrity Makeup Artist, Rachel Goodwin, created a look that not only played up Emma’s bright eyes but also highlighted the lips. “With Emma’s look we really went fun, coquettish and flirtatious. For her makeup, we focused on both eyes and lips, which isn’t the norm—but we wanted something modern and ultra-feminine, not too serious” says Rachel.

A truly daring look that’s surprisingly wearable, here’s how you can recreate Emma’s Golden Globe beauty look yourself:

For a flawless base, Rachel applied an even layer of Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush Effects Makeup (Vanilla) to skin. She chose this foundation for its pore diminishing qualities and airbrush finish. Once the skin was set, Rachel brightened Emma’s face with a slight flush of color. Opting for a soft rosy pink blush, Rachel swept Chanel Le Jardin de Chanel Powder blush along Emma’s cheeks.

To achieve Emma’s stunning smoky eye, Rachel simply used the Chanel Quadra Eyeshadow palette in Tisse Riviera. She began by saturating the grey tone on the lid and continued with the darkest shade, neatly blending that into the outer corner of Emma’s eyes. She pulled the darker shadow out into a soft almond shape which gives the illusion of a more lifted and open eye. Once a gradient smoky effect was created, the look was framed with a soft blending of the lightest shade along the outer perimeters of the dark shadow.

For added intensity, Rachel lined the waterline with Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Eyeliner in Black Shimmer and softly smoked a little along the outer half of the lower lash line. To open the eye, Rachel applied the lightest shadow from the quad to the tear duct and pulled the pale shimmery tone along the lower lash line. For the final framing element, she generously coated Emma’s lashes with CHANEL Le Volume de Chanel Mascara in Noir.

For that beautiful subtle red lip, Rachel chose a red lipstick with berry undertones. An even swipe of the creamy textured Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick in HD Iris was just the right shade to finish off the look.

An unusual pairing that made for a modern and cool look, this beauty style has just enough glamour for formal settings.

Would you try this look yourself?

Get The Look: Dascha Polanco’s Emmy Awards Ethereal Beauty Look

66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards - ArrivalsUnlike her character on ‘Orange Is The New Black,’ Dascha Polanco sparkled on the Emmy Awards red carpet. While her goddess-like Johanna Johnson flowing gown was an inspiration for celebrity makeup artist, Lucky Smyler, the look was all about highlighting Dascha’s natural features.

Luminous skin, cool iridescent tones and highlights were essential characteristics in Dascha’s ethereal Emmy’s beauty look. Lucky took the opportunity to accentuate Dascha’s beautiful eyes and skin and used unexpected tones of light mint.

Here’s how you can achieve this glamorous and whimsical look yourself:

SKIN
Prep: To achieve that radiant creamy canvas, Lucky prepped Dascha’s skin with SheaMoisture Misting Toner and followed with SheaMoisture Primer, evenly applying it with a foundation brush.

Foundation: The goal was to create a smooth and creamy even finish. Lucky achieved that by applying SheaMoisture Sheer Liquid Foundation in Yasuni Honey with a dampened sponge and gently stippled the product along the skin. He proceeded by sweeping SheaMoisture Concealer in Snowdonia Fawn along her under eyes with his ring finger.

Set: He continued by sculpting the face with Color Correcting Contouring and Highlighting Palette in Medium Light, neatly contouring the face along the hairline, cheekbones and jaw area. To lock in the freshness and dewy quality of the skin, Lucky applied Yala Golden Pressed Powder to skin.

Finish (Glow): To achieve that glowing ethereal look, Lucky illuminated the skin with SheaMoisture Illuminating Powder in Cinnamon Ceylon and Mandalay Dusk. He enhanced the previous contouring and applied a final dusting of SheaMoisture Annecy Maroon Mineral Blush along the apples of the cheeks.

EYES
Prep: To prep the lids, Lucky dusted SheaMosture Eyeshadow in Cecilia on the lid and brow bone. The pale tone of eye shadow served as a highlight and framing shade for the additional colors.

Color: Lucky used a damp shadow brush to apply a mixture of the base shade and Deysi Eyeshadow to the lids. Due to the iridescent quality of the shadows, a dampened brush allowed for a more intense pigment upon application.

Finish: He framed Dascha’s eyes with a swipe of black liquid liner and followed with generous layers of a volumizing and lengthening mascara to her lashes.

LIPS
Prep: To achieve a pillow soft lip, Lucky exfoliated, moisturized and primed Dascha’s lips with SheaMoisture Lip Exfoliator.

Color: Once the lips were primed, Lucky applied SheaMoisture Roberta Lipstick Crayon and blotted. This allowed the color to set as more of a stain rather than flat color and followed with a final coat of the same product.

Finish: To further highlight her lips, Lucky finished with a layer of SheaMoisture Lipgloss in Rosie.

Starting with Deborah Lippmann The Stripper, she removed any polish and impurities from Lena’s nails and proceeded to shape them using Deborah Lippmann Smooth Operator, a 4-way multi nail buffer.

Once nails were clean, Deborah used her Cuticle Remover and hydrated the nails and surrounding skin with Deborah Lippmann Cuticle Oil. She finished by generously coating Lena’s hands in Deborah Lippmann Rich Girl SPF 2 Hand Cream and massaging it into the skin.
