Felicity Jones In Christian Dior – 2013 Variety Screening Series: ‘The Invisible Woman’

Felicity Jones In Christian Dior - 2013 Variety Screening Series 'The Invisible Woman'

Felicity Jones attended the 2013 Variety Screening Series of ‘The Invisible Woman’ at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood, California on Tuesday.

While she may have made a breathtaking entrance in this black Christian Dior dress a few months back, I’m not sure I feel the same way about the current Dior LBD at hand. The real problem is that between the lack of colour, overly boxy silhouette, and exaggerated seams, there’s nothing truly exciting to see here.

A navy Jimmy Choo ‘Tube’ clutch and black cap-toe pumps, along with barely-there makeup and a simple updo, completed the look.

Do you think she nailed the minimalist-chic thing, or is it just kind of boring?

Pixie Lott In Moschino Cheap And Chic – Fashion Fringe 10 Year Anniversary Party

Pixie Lott In Moschino Cheap And Chic - Fashion Fringe 10 Year Anniversary Party

Pixie Lott attended the Fashion Fringe 10th Anniversary Party at the London Film Museum in London, England on Tuesday evening.

The British singer is clearly a fan of pink Moschino Cheap and Chic looks (see here), and her latest selection — a cotton candy jacket and feather-trimmed shorts set — happened to be from the Spring 2014 collection as well. To give the eye some reprieve, she styled the colourful combo with a white turtleneck underneath.

Her accessories — metallic Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps and a pink gingham backpack by Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony — reminded me of something the character Cher Horowitz from the ’90s rom-com, ‘Clueless’ would wear. And while I love the movie, I’m not sure if I love the execution here.

She finished with heavy kohl-rimmed eyes and stick-straight hair.

Are you a fan of her latest pink Moschino look, or is it a bit ridiculous?

Amanda Seyfried In Valentino – The ‘Cle De Peau Beaute’ Promo Event

Amanda Seyfried In Valentino - The 'Cle De Peau Beaute' Promo Event

As one of the beauty brand’s ambassadors, Amanda Seyfried attended the Cle De Peau Beaute press conference in Seoul, South Korea on Wednesday.

The star went with a lighter-than-light palette, opting to wear a pale pink lace Valentino dress with scallop-trimmed sleeves and hem, which she accessorized with nude Roger Vivier peep-toe heels.

There was real concern here that the combo of pale tones would wash her out; fortunately, her bright red lipstick came to the rescue with a burst of much-needed colour. For me, a fuchsia or pink lip would have worked better — as is, it strikes a very fine line between necessary and too stark a contrast.

Soft, curled tresses completed the look.

Does Amanda’s ensemble do justice to soft-hue styling, or is it just a little too washed out?

Patricia Clarkson In Christian Dior – Marrakech International Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Patricia Clarkson In Christian Dior - Marrakech International Film Festival Opening Ceremony

It must be something in the Moroccan air, as Patricia Clarkson was the second “lady in yellow” at the Marrakech International Film Festival on Friday.

While Deepika Padukone chose a mustard shade, Patricia stepped out in a lemon-coloured gown from the Christian Dior Resort 2014 collection. The well-fitting number — similar to Natalie Portman’s shorter red version — featured a rise-and-fall hem, giving us just the slightest peek of her gold metallic pumps.

She completed the look with a smattering of gold accessories and a matte red lip.

I love the sunny hue, but wish she would have skipped the gilded accents in favour of a more standout coordinating colour — perhaps sapphire or fuchsia?

Are you happy with this look as is, or is something missing?

Naomi Campbell In Alexander McQueen – Japanese Tea Ceremony

Naomi Campbell In Alexander McQueen - Japanese Tea Ceremony

It seems as if Naomi Campbell has made herself at home in Australia, having made her most recent appearance at a Japanese tea ceremony in Sydney on Saturday.

The British supermodel went with her go-to designer, Alexander McQueen, for the occasion, selecting a long, puffed-sleeve white shirt, front-split black skirt, and thick black waist belt.

Everything else — hair, makeup, jewelry, and black sandals — was understated.

Given the event, I understand the conservative styling. That said, I do love the subtle Naomi touch here: she still managed to put those supermodel legs on display.

Are you bored or is it just right given the tea ceremony atmosphere?

Deepika Padukone In Gauri and Nainika – Marrakech International Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Deepika Padukone In Gauri and Nainikav - Marrakech International Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Deepika Padukone attended the opening ceremony of the Marrakech International Film Festival on Friday.

The beautiful Bollywood actress chose a mustard-coloured Gauri and Nainika gown with a slightly gathered neckline, simple lines, and a dramatic floor-length hem that trailed behind her.

She punctuated the bright hue and sweeping silhouette with decadent pearl earrings and little else. Minimal accessorizing gave way to subdued smokey eyes, a nude lip, and swept-back hair.

It may not be the most exciting or groundbreaking look, but it sure is a gorgeous one. No complaints from my end.

Thoughts?
