Rupi Kaur In Gabriela Hearst – The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Rupi Kaur made a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ at NBC Studios in New York City on Monday (June 25).

The Indian-Canadian poet, writer and illustrator shared details on how she went from a self-published student poet, to the top of the New York Times best-seller list, plus she shared a poem from her second collection, ‘The Sun and Her Flowers’.

Gabriela Hearst’s suits have been a huge hit with celebrities, and Rupi joins the growing list with her linen look from the Spring 2018 collection.

Linen instantly makes things look and feel lightweight, so I’m guessing Gabriela Hearst decided to render this suit in the textile to be worn in the summer months.

I love that despite its fabrication that the look retains some form of structure with the sharply padded shoulders paving the way for a notched lapel collar, but it’s the wrap design of the blazer which really turned me onto this look.
