Stella McCartney Celebrates The Official Opening of 23 Old Bond Street
Stella McCartney hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate the official opening of her flagship store on 23 Old Bond Street in London on Tuesday (June 12).
The designer alongside Kate Moss cut a giant red ribbon wrapped around the new store’s balcony as friends and family waved flags, confetti and bubbles from the shop windows and storefront.
Guests included Kylie Minogue, Idris Elba and Mindy Kaling.
Stella McCartney: Trying to go incognito, the designer wore a camo print jumpsuit from her Pre-Fall 2018 collection. You may remember that supermodel Claudia Schiffer wore this same piece in London last month.
Idris Elba & Sabrina Dhowre: The last time we saw Sabrina at the royal wedding we were less than impressed. On this occasion she was like a brand new woman in her summery blonde locks and uber chic, loose-fit Stella McCartney red look. What I loved most about this duo is how well co-ordinated they were. Mr Elba was looking very dapper in his Stella McCartney Fall 2018 sweater.
Mindy Kaling: My wait for Mindy’s return to a more colourful palette goes on as the ‘Ocean’s 8’ star opted for an all black leather look. I wish the look didn’t feel so snug, that the skirt sat lower and had a tonal lining.
Kylie Minogue: It’s not often Kylie opts for an LBD, but a pop of colour via her red pumps livened things up.
Kate Moss: All-black is usually the models M.O., so no surprises here. Usually in all vintage, this silk look a super lux vibe about it.
