Nina Dobrev In Christian Dior – 2018 Fragrance Foundation Awards

Nina Dobrev joined Rita Ora on the red carpet for the 2018 Fragrance Foundation Awards on Tuesday (June 12) in New York City.

The actress wore a Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2018 look which she presented in a sheer embellished version.

Those of you who dislike sheer dresses must be in a bit of a conundrum.

On the one hand you willing be wishing Nina’s dress wasn’t sheer, but on the other perhaps grateful she didn’t opt for the look book version of this dress which resembles a religious habit.

neck up she looks fabulous. Great styling. The dress is not my fave sadly.

I’m missing her 2012-2013 style days when she used to have one great red carpet look after another – not that they were particularly fashion forward or anything, but her style used to be fun, vibrant, flattering and suited to her – this isn’t any of that. This one is surprisingly frumpy for a sheer dress

I wish she’d stop being so predictable and start being more playful and adventurous on the red carpet.
She doesn’t look like she’s having fun with fashion.

In one picture you cannot see that it is sheer and it looks really good. Not sure why they could have not lined this version.

So a thumbs down for me.

I like it but I wish she’d worn this in September.
