American Film Institute’s 46th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to George Clooney

There were many more A-Listers joining Cate Blanchett, Anna Kendrick and Amal Clooney and for the American Film Institute’s 46th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to George Clooney on Thursday (June 7) in Hollywood, California.

Jennifer Aniston: The breath-taking construction of this bodice makes me realise how much I miss seeing the craftsmanship of Christian Lacroix Haute Couture on the red carpet.

Cindy Crawford: The super model was serving up pure elegance in this Stella McCartney one-shoulder gown. Granted it’s nothing new, but you can’t deny that with minimal effort Cindy is a vision here. There was plenty of sparkle to be had via her Jimmy Choo ‘Cayla’ clutch, gold sandals and earrings.

Julianna Margulies: The actress is always radiant on the red carpet. On this occasion she opted for midnight blue, over her favoured black. I love the silhouette of this Vionnet Fall 2014 Couture dress, but I’m not sure of the design from the bustle downwards. A Jimmy Choo ‘Vivienne’ clutch completed her look.

Laura Dern: This Esteban Cortazar Spring 2015 dress isn’t saying much, so I’m grateful for the cool-blue hue of her Tyler Ellis clutch and Calvin Klein pumps which add some interest.

Courtney Cox: It was a case of friends reunited, as Courtney joined her BFF Jennifer Aniston on this red carpet, and in her love for all things black wearing a Roland Mouret Pre-Fall 2018 gown. Subtle details help Courtney succeed, where Laura Dern’s failed. Jennifer Meyer jewels and a gold clutch completed her look.

Jane Seymour: The actress didn’t appear to get the black or white memo, as she looked beautiful wearing a red off the shoulder neoprene gown by Jovani.
