2018 CFDA Fashion Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of some of the other attendees at the 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 4) held at the Brooklyn Museum in New York City, joining Cate Blanchett, Kim Kardashian, Sarah Paulson and many more.

Nina Dobrev: I really wanted more from Nina. More colour, more magic, more wow and something unexpected. I feel like we’ve seen this Zac Posen dress a thousand times.

Whoopi Goldberg: Do not adjust your sets, this is Whoopi wearing a hot pink in Christian Siriano Spring 2018 suit with a matching hat that wouldn’t look out of place at the Kentucky Derby. Even if you don’t like the fit or the comfortable shoes, at least this is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Rosario Dawson: From the design to the styling, nothing appeals here. The whole look was…dare I say…sloppy.

Cynthia Erivo: The singer style is always bold and daring. Remember her bright yellow Rosie Assoulin look? On this occasion she sported an hybrid Lela Rose dress shirt, or should that be shirt dress? Which felt fresh, modern and wonderfully girlie at the same time.

Kourtney Kardashian: We know the Kardashians love to show a bit of skin. Kourtney opted to in a more sensual way in her Christian Siriano Fall 2018 suit. Hemmed pants and this would have been perfect.

Claire Danes: I have been a fan of Claire’s maternity style and this minimalist Narciso Rodriguez asymmetric leather dress might just be my favourite so far. Who said maternity dressing had to be pastal hues and pretty floral dresses, when you can rock a cool modern look like this.

Diane Lane: The actress was oozing sophistication in her Gabriela Hearst teal-blue suit. While I’m not sure about the shoe colour, I love the contrast of the Gabriela Hearst ‘Demi’ bag.

Donatella Versace: If you have been wondering what a snatched waist looks like; look no further than Donatella in her own Atelier Versace design.

Madeline Brewer: The actress was radiant in this summery Tanya Taylor design.

Busy Philipps: The actress presented a more successful flared suit than Amandla Stenberg in this Christian Siriano Fall 2018 high-shine look.

Dianna Agron: The actress has been part of the Prada/Miu Miu family for so long, I had forgotten what her style is like outside that bubble. On this occasion her pink Monse one-sleeve shirt dress did pique my interest, but I found the Fall hued accessories an odd match.
