Hilary Rhoda In Markarian – 70th Parsons Benefit

Hilary Rhoda attended the 70th Parsons Benefit on Monday (May 21) in New York City, joining Kelela.

The bold bronze studs on this Markarian Fall 2018 gown had the potential to make a strong statement, but all I see is the white detail on the chest.

I would not be opposed to the idea of contrasting cups but the proportion and effect of the unadorned fabric don’t do anything for her and completely distract from everything else, including the too-long skirt.

Had the detail been moved to under the bust, it would have made a world of difference.

Thoughts?

She’s so elegant, but this dress is a big, big no.

Proof that sometimes models CAN’T make everything look good. She still looks gorgeous anyways.

Tbh I am not sure I would have liked this even without those distracting white boob-bands, but they certainly seal the deal firmly in the dislike category.
