‘The Man Who Killed Don Quixote’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Closing Ceremony Red Carpet Roundup

Lovely ladies joined Khadja Nin, Cate BlanchettKristen Stewart and Olga Kurylenko at ‘The Man Who Killed Don Quixote’ premiere and Cannes Film Festival closing ceremony on Saturday (May 19).

Léa Seydoux: Going for a bold, glittering finish, the French actress was outfitted in a Louis Vuitton dress and shoes. There have been some critics of the designer of late, but I’m hoping this shimmering, sensual silver style will go down favorably.

Ava DuVernay: The director oozed sophistication in a custom Stella McCartney gown. This rich maroon is divine with her complexion and the sweeping shoulder detail has such refined elegance.

Nadine Labaki: The Lebanese director celebrated winning the jury prize for her film ‘Capharnaum’ in Elie Saab Haute Couture. The floral print godets inject life into the black colour palette. The green earrings play up the colours, but the metallic clutch was distracting.

Laura Harrier: Also in a Louis Vuitton dress and shoes, the young actress continued to showcase her fashion credentials in a golden trimmed black leather dress. It was sharp, sensual and thoroughly modern. Her styling was right on.

Ava Duvernay is a director, not an actor, but she is just killing it. Lea Sedoux looks fab as well.

Lea looks nice. She looks good but LV just doesn’t make your jaw drop.
Lauras is not fine for Cannes. I don’t like this too casual look.
    The other two sure, fine.

Ava’s best look ever, she looks regal. Lea looks gorgeous but it feels like a look she’s rocked in the past only better then. I don’t like Laura’ look here.

What is going on below the hips with Ava’s dress?it looks bad. Other than that, the look is good. Actually, they all look good here though Laura is a touch casual for Cannes and needs some non-office pumps shoes.

Best I’ve seen of Ava. Lea is selling the dress but I don’t love it. Laura is beautiful but I don’t like it or the styling.

    About Léa:
I am liking of all the looks she has been wearing, but this is the moment I was waiting for, the dress is outstanding.
I am starting to love her partnership with Louis Vuitton, it has an effortless elegance that fits Léa like a glove.
