Emilia Clarke In Dolce & Gabbana – ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Emilia Clarke joined Thandie Newton at the ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Cannes Film Festival photocall on Tuesday (May 15) in France.

Wearing Dolce & Gabbana, the look had a playful feel with the smattering of oversized buttons and short shapes. The mood invigorated the brand’s signature glamour.

Some might wish for longer trousers to elongate the lines of the legs, but I’m not bothered as the cropped length kept things fresh.

Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps add to the fun feeling.

I like the top but the pants are indeed stumping her. I like it waist up, its a good look for photocall.

Oh girl no. The proportions are way off for her body shape. It’s not just the cropped pants but the button detailing on the flare of the top too.

The gold tints of her shoe and the gold buttons bookend her hair nicely. Although it looks great when she is in character, irl her hair often looks too harsh and unnatural. Not here. I like her beauty look here as well.

Wooow, great way to shorten your legs

So cute! She looks great. For once, I don’t mind the length of the pants.

    Chic.

I agree that the fit of the pants is not ideal, but I like the look. It feels nautical and thus somewhat appropriate for Cannes.

The hair colour is a problem, but her beauty look, especially the lip stick is great.

I don’t mind the length of the pant but I do wish they were fitted. The looseness translates as dumpy rather than breezy chic.
