The influence of the 2018 Met Gala’s ‘Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination’ theme wouldn’t be lost on Kate Bosworth on Monday (May 7) in New York City.

This diaphanous, gold-dusted Oscar de la Renta gown was beguiling simply by virtue of its fairy-like quality, as the actress floated onto the red carpet with the sweet innocence of porcelain doll makeup.

The pearl-embellished veil, of course, was the element that contributed to the evening’s M.O., with the undoubted bridal influences taking the look to another level.
