Chloe Sevigny In Chanel Couture – ‘Everybody Knows’ Cannes Film Festival Screening

Chloe Sevigny struck a cool pose at the ‘Everybody Knows’ screening and Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony on Tuesday evening (May 8) in France.

Always a pioneer, she rejected the expected gown with dramatic train for a Chanel Fall 2016 Couture dress.

The prim ankle-length style was enlivened with the mixed embellished panel. It added a prismatic edge to the subdued pastel hue.

The pockets were another most unexpected twist. Some might find the latter detail awkward or a tad contrived, but it was a playful addition.

The runway version had a more voluminous, puffed effect. Her look might be more deflated but it allowed the sharp pleated lines to be showcased.
