Starz ‘Vida’ LA Premiere

Ladies at the Starz ‘Vida’ LA premiere on Tuesday (May 1) turned heads with their detailed looks.

Mishel Prada: Shimmering in Elisabetta Franchi Spring 2018, the gown exuded vintage allure. It was the pared-back approach to embellishment that set it apart. With the fringing focused on specific areas, it became something more than just another flapper dress.

Melissa Barrera: The actress-singer was a beauty in bold blooms in Claudia Li Spring 2018. Given the statement print and large tie detail, more subdued accessories would have been more cohesive. The ATELIER SWAROVSKI clutch and Schutz heels steal some of the frock’s thunder.

Maria Elena Laas: The Puerto Rican actress also went with a shorter silhouette, but selected a more delicate colour palette. The tones of cream and ivory are charming, but the strapless design with bold surface detailing adds a touch of sass to the style.

Chelsea Rendon: There’s such dynamism in the print of her dress. With the mullet hemline, it’s a show-stopping piece and didn’t need much else. I appreciate the glamorous turn but think softer styling would have felt fresher.
