Storm Reid In Maggie Marilyn & Diane von Furstenberg – Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ & All It Takes Lasting Legacy Event

Storm Reid had a busy weekend first attending Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ celebration on Friday (April 27) in Los Angeles, California. Then she was back on the red carpet at the All It Takes Lasting Legacy event to celebrate youth leadership on Saturday (April 28).

Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ Event: Joining Angela Sarafyan and Yara Shahidi, the ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ actress showcased her fashion credentials in a Maggie Marilyn Pre-Fall 2018 outfit. The exaggerated shoulders, relaxed fit and multicolored Cushnie Et Ochs sandals temper the more mature feel of the blazer-style dress. If it seems familiar, it was previously worn by Zosia Mamet.

All It Takes Lasting Legacy Event: Bringing more colour, she was a beauty in blooms in a Diane von Furstenberg silk wrap dress. The graphic pattern and frilled sleeves add a fun youthful feel to the designer’s signature silhouette. Like her last outfit, the accessories present a fashionable feel without overcooking the look. It’s sweet and makes me ready for summer.

Storm Reid can elevate a look but these require too much heavy lifting, methinks. The first is an old style nurse’s uniform. That fuddy DVF print does nothing for anyone, much less a bright young woman such as Storm. Both are OK, but hiding the shine.

I like the first one a lot.

for the second look I would have preferred different shoes, the black is so stark.
