Jennifer Nettles graced the blue carpet at the 2018 Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday (April 15) in Las Vegas, Nevada, joining Julia Michaels, Bebe Rexha and Lauren Alaina.
The Sugarland singer looked statuesque in a J. Mendel Fall 2018 gown.
This style has such a commanding presence thanks to its luxurious fabric and sleek shape, but it’s the pattern that draws you in.
The diagonal lines are actually a mix of sheer black netting and a flocked velvety fabric. The detail work reveals a hint of skin while creating such a sumptuous tactile quality.
She went with a coordinated finish with Dean Davidson ‘Ipanema’ stud earrings in cranberry quartz and coordinating eye makeup.

I’ve decided that I am not going to look at the fabric too closely because I love the look from afar. Stunning.
From farther away I thought the dress was intriguing and gorgeous….but the close-ups show differently. The sheer spaces look uneven and really cheapens the look. Too bad.
Her beauty look is very pretty though.
She is in my opinion one of the best dressed country singers.
I agree that it looks amazing from afar, but the execution in the close ups is really bad.
Plus it seems more of a fall/winter dress to me.
Great colour though and great hair and make up.
I also love this!
I’m shocked to read the unfavorable reviews so far. I really loved this whole look. The styling was fabulous, and I love how expensive that fabric looks. To me, she was the night’s best dressed.
+1 I don’t think I like it as much as you but I don’t hate it like the other commentators
Awful. And the peekaboo black undergarments do not help matters.
Very heavy. That’s just an ugly fabric.
+1
The fabric is super ugly
