Anya Taylor-Joy In Elie Saab – Empire Awards 2018

It may have snowed in London this weekend, but Anya Taylor-Joy didn’t let that divert her summery choice for the Empire Awards on Sunday (March 18), where she joined Daisy Ridley.

I love how her fair skin created the perfect canvas for her shimmering mint-hued Elie Saab Spring 2018 gown.

It’s clear her skin tone was taken into consideration when selecting this colour, as she looks radiant here.

Even though I prefer the emerald, midnight-blue and green tones in the look book, it may have translated as too heavy for Anya.

I prefer the runway colour scheme though that green looks nice on her. The necklaces clutter the look but I think she works best slightly quirky, or fashion forward outfits.

Terrible. What is even going on? Didn’t Berenice Bejo wear this dress last year? She looked phenomenal. This isn’t even the same dress. It’s one of her worst looks.

Really wish for the runway color.

the colour of the dress is really lovely with her skin tone, but i agree with Leandra that the dress itself is not working.

Great hair and make up though.

The fabric looks terribly cheap as one of those costumes for Ali baba and the magical nights… At first, I thought it was Gucci. It’s horrendous.

Plus the necklaces are not working with the dress.

I agree, the material looks very cheap, I can’t imagine why they would choose this over the cookbook.
