Fan Bingbing In Valentino, Zhang Shuai & Thom Browne – Fan Beauty Launch, Eyewear Promotion & HKSC’s 30th Anniversary Ceremony

Fan Bingbing has recently been making the rounds in China, showcasing her true range of style.

Fan Beauty Event: I love how this Valentino Spring 2018 polka dot dress dress spoke to Fan’s girlish side. The babydoll frock’s candy-land of dots was obviously selected to perfectly coordinate with her bubblegum-pink surroundings—right down to her metallic-pink pumps (no platforms in sight!) for a sassy punch.

Eyewear Launch: Speaking of sass appeal, she piled it on strong in this Zhang Shuai Spring 2018 sequin, double-breasted suit at her eyewear launch in Shanghai on Sunday (March 4). She was selling every second of this look to me, especially since the trousers were perfectly tailored to just barely grace the floor. What I found most compelling was that, despite the boldness of the ensemble, it didn’t overtake her equally daring shades. In fact, both elements worked in harmony with neither competing for attention.

HKSC’s 30th Anniversary Ceremony: She returned to a sweeter style mood on Monday (March 5) in Hong Kong, with this Thom Browne Spring 2018 pastel, crystallized ensemble paired with metallic pumps. The jacket was unapologetically boxy, but both the delicate colour palette and the flare of the skirt injected a rush of femininity to counterbalance it.

Three-for-three for me. In fact, I’d be hard-pressed to pick a favourite. What about for you?
