Brigitte Macron’s Louis Vuitton-clad State Visit to India

French president Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron arrived in India on Friday (March 9), for a four day visit.

The French First Lady opted for a wardrobe of clean, classic and simple silhouettes of Louis Vuitton pieces, consisting of summery colours and fabrics, ranging from neutrals for the day to lace for the evening.

Visiting the Lodi Colony neighbourhood in New Dehli she opted for a fresh and stylish Twiggy-esqe ’60s style colour-block dress cautiously styled with beige suede pumps.

My favourite of the trio was her sharp suit worn her visit to the Taj Maha. Putting twist on classic French tailoring, I love how the fit of the jacket counterbalances sharp silhouette of the tapered trousers.

Arriving to the presidential palace for a dinner on Saturday (March 10), you should recognise this black lace Louis Vuitton dress, as a similar version has been worn by Noomi Rapace and Lea Seydoux. This cold-shoulder version is so elegant and refined with a Roger Vivier clutch and a selection of dazzling jewels completing the look.
