Hailee Steinfeld In Giambattista Valli Couture – 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Hailee Steinfeld was also in attendance at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (March 4) in Beverly Hills, California.

The length that this Giambattista Valli Fall 2017 Couture lace design lacked in the front, it more than made up for in the back with the train that went on for days.

It was a different incarnation of the mullet dress, but I almost think I would have preferred the look without the train.

I don’t love the cream lining first of all, but more than that, I have no doubt Hailee could have rocked the twee spirit of the flirty mini solely on its own merits.

Plus, I can only imagine the party hazard of everyone stepping on that train.

Djula jewels completed the look.

Wow that everyone hates this……I think this is adorable and I normally don’t like mullet dresses either. Hailee rarely has a miss for me, she’s up there with Zendaya and Yara.

i wish it was short! then it would have been a true party look. so sense in trying to navigate a party with a train.

Giambattista Valli was the king of the night in all the stars he dressed.

I agree that it might have been better without the train, but then she might have looked like a French maid.

Also, Valli’s mullet dress is now like the Vampire’s Wife. One dress, various executions.

Waist up, gorgeous. I suppose this is Valli’s MO lately, but I’m also fatigued by these designs.

I don’t get Valli’s obsession with mullet dresses and over the top trains. She looks cute in it but I’m not crazy about it.

Mullet dress has seen its day and its long done. It just looks silly. I cant stand it.

Neck up, she looks fantastic. Neck down, I find myself not caring one way or the other for this dress and figure out why. Maybe I am bored with the split level dress.

    It’s fine, I guess…
