2018 Film Independent Spirit Awards Red Carpet Roundup

There were plenty more stars who took to the red carpet for the 2018 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday (March 3) in Santa Monica, California, joining Danai Gurira, Kerry Washington and Margot Robbie.

Saoirse Ronan: This Prada lime jacquard shift dress with multi-colour paillettes was perfectly suited to the fun, relaxed nature of the event. Matching Prada sandals and Piaget jewels completed the look.

Dree Hemingway: Also in Prada, I love the luxu boho vibe of her white and red dotted chiffon cap sleeve gown.

Allison Janney:
Bringing some high-glamour to the beach-side event, the ‘I, Tonya’ star looked breath-taking wearing a fuchsia Pamella Roland cut-out gown which perfectly showcased her gorgeous figure. Her matching sandals and emerald jewels couldn’t have been a more perfect fit.

Elizabeth Olsen: While there’s nothing new about this red sheer Zuhair Murad dress, it was something very new for the usually reserved star, and I have to say I love it. Not only to see her in something so unexpected, but also to see her take a risk for once. Solange Azagury-Partridge jewels  completed her look.

Salma Hayek: This black and red fitted dress hugged Salma in all the right places. Once again I’m grateful it’s not off-the-runway Gucci look.

Amanda Seyfried: Sadly, I couldn’t get on board with Amanda’s Alexander McQueen dress – which feels quite limp despite the detail – or the nude pumps.

Molly Shannon: Her Badgley Mischka navy column gown with ruffled sleeve detail was given a touch more glamour with an embellished silver clutch.

Ava DuVernay: High low dresses aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but this Greta Constantine green collared satin dress with puffed sleeves was one I could fully get behind in terms of originality and execution. Stella Luna metallic pumps and a satin Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ clutch accessorized her look.

Haley Lu Richardson: Her Zimmermann Spring 2018 two-piece floral look styled with Salvatore Ferragamo satin strappy sandals perfectly set the mood for the carefree event.

Aubrey Plaza: While this Miu Miu look did have an open back, it still felt very much like a maids uniform or a look you would see on a governess. Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals and a bright pink lip completed her look.
