The Global Awards 2018

The Global Awards 2018 took place on Thursday (March 1) in London, celebrating UK’s most popular radio stations; Capital, Capital XTRA, Heart, Classic FM, Smooth, Radio X, LBC and Gold with the awards categories reflecting the music, news and programmes aired.

Myleene Klass: The co-presenter made a stand out statement on the blue carpet wearing a Khosla Jani custom gown. The designer is known for their signature gold embellishments and mixed fabrics; of which featured in her dramatic look. While I’m somewhat intrigued by this gown, I’m also very much perplexed by it. It’s almost like two looks have been melded into one. The top half would look great as a performance piece for the likes of Beyonce and Lady Gaga, and the bottom half would’ve been the perfect part of a beautiful one-shoulder or strapless gown.

Rochelle Humes: Taking up the second part of the presenting duties on the night, Rochelle graced the red carpet wearing a Genny Spring 2018 gown. Despite the sheerness, the look almost had a fairytale quality to it, probably due to the heavenly blue hue, which she matched with eye makeup.

Abbey Clancy: The Britain’s Top Model judge was presenting high-end, fashion forward glamour in her this stunning Zeynep Kartal Fall 2018 jumpsuit with a dramatic train. The label’s high-impact, out-of-this-world aesthetic fits right in with the other looks at this event. I’ve never been offended by side-boob, so I’m buying everything Abbey is selling here.

Emma Bunton: Amidst all the OTT gowns stood Emma Bunton in her Alice + Olivia Annabeth ruffled devoré-chiffon dress. The look feels very suited to her cutesy style; accessorized perfectly with the blood red heels and tailored blazer. If you’re having a case of deja vu, that’s because we’ve seen this look twice before on Heidi Klum and Victoria Justice.

All of these are not working for me, for totally different reasons haha

I would of loved Abbeys look if her hair was slicked back. It just looks so lazy like this and busy ups the look too much. The outfit by itself is intriguing.

Like Abbey’s outfit, but it’s dragged down by terrible hair and make-up choices. I really want to love Myleene’s gown, but I do agree that it’s too inconsistent and doesn’t really work together. Rochelle’s look is fine, but nothing really to get excited about and if she wasn’t positioned right after Myleene’s hot mess, but individually, it would be raining sheer-complaints on her, rightfully.
I have no idea what Emma was thinking.

I’ve never been offended by side-boob either, LOL!

Yup Abbey is easily the best, her look is the vibe I think Myleene was going for.

LOVE Abbey’s ensemble and agree totally about the first one. Loathe the sheer blue one.
