Camilla Belle In Carolina Herrera – 12th Annual Los Angeles Ballet Gala

If you’re anything like me, this Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2018 dress was on your wish list for one of two people: Emmy Rossum or Camilla Belle.

It was the latter who graced the red carpet at the 12th Annual Los Angeles Ballet on Saturday (February 24) in Beverly Hills, California, alongside Sofia Carson, looking every bit as gorgeous as you would expect.

Sweet, yet not too girlish, refined and oozing plenty of sophistication, some might have preferred the pink flowers to have been embroidered or in the form of a print, but I love how the 3D effect gives the prim look whole new dimension.

Clearly a dress to swirl around in!

Also, agree with TeaForTwo about the styling. Falls a tad flat on her.

    She looks well put together.
I love the color and the silhouette, not overly a fan of the limp looking flowers on her.
I love the necklace but it was not necessary here.
I love the shoes, hair and makeup.

Lovely dress but remove the necklace and perhaps change the sandals to a red or pink sandals.

The dress does kinda fall flat compared to the lookbook but I still like it

I love this dress in the presentation photo, but it lost it’s ‘oomph’ on Camilla.

+1 – the necklace and shoes are all wrong.

the dress is lovely, but I am not sure she shows it to the best potential.

Not liking the necklace and not a big fan of the pale lipstick

Nice enough but Sarah Hyland did it better. I am still holding a grudge that she was left out of the BDOTW poll. I do not understand that rationale, especially when the likes of Letitia Wright were included.

    • Mimi February 26, 2018 at 14:31 #

Not everyone can be included!! I’m sure FC is doing the best she can, and a great variety of looks is always posted each week. I don’t understand why people get so upset about a poll meant to be for fun!

I know she does the best she can. Great thing about this site is that I can express my own opinion, thanks 😉

          Just like I expressed mine!

Yep! Isn’t freedom of speech glorious that way?

I do really like the look. The dress looks great on her, but I’m not sure about the flowers. I like the color and the contrast they bring, but I don’t like the shape of the flowers, it kinda cheapens the dress.

    • Mimi February 26, 2018 at 14:32 #

I totally agree. She looks gorgeous, but I don’t like the flowers themselves. I even like that they’re 3D, they just don’t look well-done.

+3 Yeah there’s very lovely elements here but the flowers aren’t sitting quite right with me.
