Anya Taylor-Joy In Gucci – Newport Beach Film Festival Annual UK Honours

Anya Taylor-Joy made a dramatic statement at the Newport Beach Film Festival Annual UK Honours on Thursday (February 15) in London, England.

The actress ensured all eyes were on her in a sweeping Gucci Resort 2018 dress.

Given the modifications, I wouldn’t be surprised if some mistake the new look for Chanel.

She opted for the black and white above-the-ankle style dress over the billowing pink and purple maxi dress we saw on the runway.

It still presents a whimsical charm with the black bows while the full cape sleeves provide drama.

It was a successful turn, but I am still intrigued to see how she would have carried off the original.  The actress doesn’t shy away from bold gowns, and she has worn Gucci to much success in the past.

Which version do you prefer?

ALINKA jewels completed her look.

SO much better in black and white. I like how whimsical it is on her; I think it’s pretty great.

I actually think she looks fine? I like the cape, though the bows are really a bit much. And something about her hair and make-up doesn’t go quite right with this outfit. Too harsh and prim, I think, taking this into costume-territory.
But overall, I do think it’s a good look from her.

Its not a good dress. not at all. This short black version is quite ugly n cheap looking compared to the runway. Hate the three bows. One would of been plenty.

Gucci’s Game of Throne Collection. Burn it.

No, sorry. It’s a mini dress with delusions of grandeur. It looks silly and not in a funny, gracious way.

My god… she literally scares me with that face. This is Little Red Riding Maleficent couture. Nay.

I agree. And I prefer the runway look.

i do not like the dress, the bows and the cape sleeves in combination with the makeup make it look circus adjecent. Too costumey.
